I felt embarrassed for those two guys doing the handshake, that looked very awkward.

What is an Investment Trust Fund? An investment trust is a publicly listed financial institution, which is a closed-end fund (CEF) that invests in shares or financial assets on behalf of its investors or other organizations.

Blah blah blah. Get rid of the jargon. It’s an investment company that uses investors money to buy shares/ bonds/ commodities etc but the company itself is traded on the stock market and has shares of its own. Done - stop trying to explain the investment world using jargon to make it look like it’s complicated, IT IS NOT
