I bought the eyeshadow palette and hoped it would be great right when it launched. I wear it everyday and the formula is almost perfect! I thought about the highlighter but didn't pull the trigger on it. I'm not as in love with those.

Theyre definitely not exact. I'd say the metallic shades in this one are MUCH more metallic than in the Maybelline one. But if youre looking for good neutral palettes, I think theyre both awesome! Theyre just different. So I'd say if someone likes really metallic shades that catch the light a lot and they're fine with a higher price point, go with the Too Faced one. But if a person is just looking for great neutrals at an affordable price, the Maybelline one is awesome! And I'd say the Too Faced one is a bit more cool-toned overall than the Maybelline one!

I think the middle highlighter in this is VERY similar to the Hourglass one! So I think either would be a great option for what youre wanting!

Hi Leslie. Do you think the soft focus powder in the highlighter palette compares to say the Hourglass ambient lightening powders? I bet it does! I honestly dont own any of the Hourglass ones to fully compare! But from swatching those in store, these middle ones seems similar!
