I'm a huge basketball fan and don't like the NFL wanting to take the spotlight from the NBA on Christmas. This was nothing but a power grab by the NFL in order to make more money on top of the billions that league has already made.

@manueldavidson1398, hmm! 🤔 💭 I do recall the NFL playing football games on Christmas Day in the past. However, the juggernaut simply was taking the business a step further by striking a $150 million deal with the streaming service Netflix to take things further downfield like that of the Super Bowl over the years.

I stopped watching NFL after Kaepernick. I didn't know about the other stanza of the national anthem. I was in the army waving the flag. So no I can't love the NFL more than I love myself. I also was a Bears fan. So I was mad from Sunday to Wednesday. My life got better. I became a better husband. lol. f em . The biggest problem with the NFL is plantation system. The owners will never have enough.

@comicrobb, I volunteered, served, and retired from the United States Navy Submarine Fleet in the past. I don't hold any grudges against people exercising their "First Amendment Right to The Constitution of the United States" that I was trained to uphold in the military. However, I don't see many multi-millionaire African-American football players complaining about their contracts that, according to you, continue to play on that "plantation" known as the NFL over the years.

NBA needs to bring back defense. If you are 7’4 center camp your ass in the post, snd every once in awhile pop out. NBA is missing defense. Lebron needs to retired, pass the ball to Ant or Jayson.

Perhaps you might want to keep in mind that the NBA is drafting big men from European who are trained to shoot the basketball from three point range over the years. I mean, the strategy of the big man in the paint has evolved in the 21st century. The last time I checked, LeBron James is still productive on the hardwood over the years. He recently tied Michael Jordan for most 30-point overall 30-point game performances and became the fourth oldest to have 30-point games in the sport over the years.

Great video post and subject. Honestly, I don't see it the way of the headline. The NBA certainly can't complain because they started it first by playing games on Thanksgiving night. When that was the NFL's domain. Second what is the sports industry but and without one of America's seven sins of capitalism (greed). I'm for anything that puts sports back on free television. In this case, it's turned to streaming. Which streaming is the new expensive cable bill. Until the goons and ghouls of business find another way to con America into another monstrosity.

@@KarenHunterShow just saying specifically in the comparison to Jordan who he doesn't have the losses. So between the 6 more losses or 2 less wins the losses is a worse statistic in my opinion

Yeah, NIL definitely needs some regulation, but in an era of broad deregulation and broadly unfettered capitalism, it's going to be a while before that happens. The people at the top of the NCAA want to make sure that their "all-star schools" get and stay well fed

Michael Jordan is the STANDARD when it pertains to basketball players. It's called PRESSURE! People never forget that the Bulls Organisation and coach Phil Jackson, top notch from top to bottom. The Bulls 2nd tier players were always dependable.

I don't watch the NFL or NBA on a regular so I get that it's stepping on toes, but at the same time, that's what capitalism is all about. We need to look at how greed is driving so many of these decisions in general (education, politics & entertainment all suck because of capitalism).
@Bklyn11216 күн бұрын
Why don't these players have a league of their own? Why are the NBA and NFL owners and agents needed? They're not the attraction. These players make enough money to pool their money and start their own league. What's worse is Osei Umenyiora is helping the NFL and Amadou Gallo Fall is assisting the NBA in infiltrating Africa.

NFL is jealous because they want the global reach that the NBA has received. The NFL would like nothing more than to be international and in the Olympics. Not just that but alot of these NFL games are played to partially empty stadiums. The NBA has too many games. I wish they move no more than 2 games a week? Karen's right. I liked when the players stayed with a team, not moving around from team to team. Same thing happening on the college level with this portal thing.

The NFL will only get worse with that because they make a lot from streaming. Probably regular channel broadcasts will disappear all together Edit: plus the NBA is boring. Also the NBA is becoming more international so that black american culture thing will also disappear. Bronny wouldve have faced ridicule regardless because people absolutely hate his father- and i will point out that a lot of those haters are black

Why is there even any debate. The people have spoken. The NBA was on FREE Tv, and I don’t know about anyone else’s house, but in mine(which doesn’t have NETFLIX), I had to PAY to see the NFL on NETFLIX. Which I gladly did. I would not have paid to see a NBA game. Heck, the NBA has another 3-4 months before any relevant games are played. LeBron and Steph need to chill out. We’ll pay full attention to them in a few months.
