This's the third video I've watched since you just randomly appeared on my feed. I guess I have the algorithm and the 'hell yeah brother' crew for the divine intervention. It's good to hear the scientific side of tuning rather than timing this and timing that🙂 Interesting stuff. Cheers! All the way from sunny Scotland.

Glad your channel got a big boost lately I'm telling you right now if you work with to Cleetus and keep making videos about it your channel will absolutely blow up just like everybody else that has anything to do with that guy they start making channels and it starts taking off massive because he is such a big following of Motorsport enthusiasts it's a no brainer good for business and good for the KZbin your knowledge and experience is needed with that heavy car it's finally heading in the direction he's been saying he wanted it to go for awhile.... He was so happy after fl2k finally running consistent 6s and even mid 6s and world cup is gunna be way harder to tune for I bet

Such a simple way to explain it, glad I got some confirmation on the way I'm setting my nitrous motorcycle up. Not a torque converter but a multi-stage gen2 clutch (rpm driven). I'm bringing the nitrous in way earlier than probably 95% of motorcycles but my theory is I'll have more adjustability this way. But damn I had to pull out lot of timing for the plugs to be happy with a decent hit at 4700 rpm LOL

I completely get the converter/rpm, pressure being the biggest factor at the very moment you let go of the button. However, I can see the suspension playing a factor within the 60ft. First let me say that I'm greenish and not fast. When I first came out with this car, it was hooking and then 4-5ft out spinning. My front shocks were simply just too tight on extension, topping out and unloading the rear. Loosening up the extension fixed the issue. However, again, my car is just an all motor factory big block car. So I'm slow.

is it possible to measure the thickness of the rubber? maybe with a small tire with anti-lock break sensors dragging all the way down the track. i got a crazy idea. measure the track surface with radar and lidar. lidar for surface of rubber, radar for surface of asphalt. difference could maybe tell you the depth of the rubber. might be able to calculate the maximum torque before shear from the temp of the surface and the depth of the rubber... if it can be measured. now what frequency of radar will penetrate rubber but not dirt?

I see a lot of cars bumping in so violently that the car is still moving around when they let go of the trans brake. Does that affect traction? Lots of cars do it, but no one seems to care that it's happening
