Thank you for opening my eyes because I also wanted freedom and wound up in a 37 foot fithwheel and spending even more time working on camper and home place. I now realize wanting to hit the road of freedom. Now I realize I need a 30 foot super c and haul a second vehicle. Exciting first trip :) Re: the yellow blocks under the jacks. I've seen some MH folks use a pole with a hook, maybe its a swimming pool rod or a boat hook. Anyway, they use the pole to push their blocks under the jacks and then use the hook to pull the blocks out when leaving. Merry Christmas.

We are not sponsored by either. The Ninja spinner is incredible. I was shocked the clothes dried in 4 hours in the 99% humidity and they didn't seem all that crunchy. I need to to some more washes with the wonderwash to get the process down better. Hi Christopher- We really haven't explained it in that manner. The Smart is the only street legal car which will fit sideways on a truck and the least expensive way to load it is with ramps and a winch. There are other more exotic means but this is the least expensive with the fewest amount of moving parts. LOL. Thanks for the comment. Appreciate you watching the channel. 😊

Hey Matt, we've camped for 20+ years on vacations while we worked so RV travel wasn't new to us. A 5th wheel was but camping was not. Hey Leo, I think I answered this in a later comment but sometimes we meet people at HDT rallies (where we present on Boondocking) and they need some reassurance on a certain region of travel. Sometimes we let them tag along until they are comfortable with the situation. Our schedule is very fluid so it's difficult to plan with others and not fair as well. Appreciate your comment.

@@racefan8418 No. Not at all. We purposely matched the truck to the trailer paint schemes so we would seem less like a commercial unit and more like a private RV (which we are). Never an issue and we've been through California Ag Inspection stations and spoken with DOT, no issues at all. Thanks for the comment.

So, I saw in an earlier episode that you stated that Orion is a class C. Does that mean it doesn’t have air brakes ( I did see you hit the yellow button on the dash) I think you said it was for the airbags. So back to my question, do you not need a CDL?

@smlink51 Lol... the names can get confusing and we may have misspoke. Orion is our 5th wheel and our had air brakes. Curiosity is the Class C and does not have air brakes. We don't need a CDL foe either. Thanks for the comments. 😃

Looks like a great way to live... however... that 5th wheel, smart car and diesel rig will cost quite a bit... and then... one must have a steady stream of income flowing into their bank account for fuel, travel expenses and repairs which won't be cheap. Or, one must have lots & lots of money already in the bank that will last for many years and can be drawn out each week or month to pay for the things one would constantly need... Anyway you look at it.... MONEY MONEY MONEY is what you would need.... Not realistic for most people, just a fantasy..... but there are a few folks like these who are very fortunate.... enjoy it while you have your health....
