Something random but while I was looking in D-side's files I couldn't find Mighty's background, character sprites or his XML file, but I was able to find the song's files and the text documents he uses to speak. Yes I know it's unimportant to this music video but the fact I can't find any of Mighty's assets aside from his song yet I can find the rest of game's assets kinda adds to this character mystery. It's almost like he broke into the game itself and stayed hidden somewhere in the files where you can't find him, but only showing his face in the game itself. He doesn't show up in the chart editor either even with his own song. (I know that his files aren't just called Mighty and I know that I suck at finding hidden things in a game's files, but I still like this character even if we don't know much about him)

I know that his sprite sheet and XML file has a different name, even if it's something like "Sonic.EXE" or "Sonic" or something else that sounds silly despite his official name being Mighty.ZIP, but what I was saying is that his assets being really well hidden kind of adds to his mysterious appearance in this mod, especially since it's not in the character folders or the in game chart editor where the rest of the cast are. Yes I already know that I suck at finding things hidden in the game files so you are free to correct me as much as you want.

I do think the subtitles that show up during the poem really adds to it. The subtitles really implied the badassery, as if the players HAD to understand what the poem meant. It was alright when Sonic did it, but the execution on this one is just so good it gave me goosebumps.

I thought Monster was my favorite D-Side Remix due to how much it improved on the OG song, but dayum does this easily top it. It’s so far removed from the OG Too Slow that it also feels like it’s own song, and using a character as obscure as Mighty as well as giving him actual lyrics (albeit briefly) is just too amazing and creative for words. Overall an A++++ effort on this song.👌🏽

The old video game (n64 Playstation 1 dream cast ect) music sound and the old console voice of mighty in the "cuz pandora" part just makes it that much more mysterious. Old games specifically from n64 always had that form of mystery behind like trying to unlock luigi in mario 64 or trying to get the triforce in ocarina of time.
