I often hear the "you're too young to hurt" argument and I never know how to react to it because it's such an illogical argument. My boyfriend has leg and back pain but can't go to the doctor because he doesn't qualify for any insurance so he can't even get treated. I have been dealing with depression since my early teens but would always ask myself the same question, "what do I have to be depressed about?" To be fair if you have depression then it's not even about what you're going through, it's a chemical inbalance in your brain. Though my parents have been divorced for as long as I can remember so that didn't help matters at all even if they were both loving people trying their best, they made mistakes and I never blamed them for them. I never got diagnosed with anything but my best guess is that I have both anxiety and depression and that plagues my life every day regardless of how great my life is going. The only therapy I have had was court ordered after many missed school days mostly because my older brother and his girlfriend would fight day and night drinking and sometimes even physically violent towards one another. My older brother has tried to commit suicide on multiple occasions and I've been there to witness the aftermath. They sent me to the Christian counseling center, that might work for many but not for me an atheist. So I went the allotted days and never went back. Sorry for the long comment and my life story XD Hope it wasn't tmi, I'm an open book!

I have anthem myself but haven't looked into mental health much and was afraid I would have to go far off to get a psychologist or whatever. I will try to get him to sign up again and hopefully he can at least see what is wrong with his legs and back, I've tried to get him to try yoga but if he doesn't know what's wrong he could injure himself further. It is pretty scary to think that we might not be covered here soon thanks to king cheeto and his army of old rich men though.
