To take a piece of rusted out crap like that and get it working on salvaged parts to the point that you can drive it around is truly amazing. Great job!

I did almost the same thing with '71 motoski and and 10hp tecumseh snowblower engine :) Glad to see i'm not alone doing different ! Thumbs up !

Post apocalyptic snow cruiser.... Couldn't help but notice the sweet chrome accents on the sled. Some of the finest driving machines have wood shifters BTW.

You gotta be kidding me ! That is some good cobbling let me tell ya ! I guess you could have run a jack shaft over to your driven clutch but you made it work ! My gandpappy once told me you can move a semi with a 5hp if the gears are right !

That's funny as hell, great job on the fabricating! I remember driving those many years ago. A friend of mines parents had a couple of them we used to beat.

Just pulled a bunch of old Evinrudes out of the woods and came back to this video (one of the very first videos I ever watched on KZbin) for ideas and inspiration. Hope you still have this thing. Maybe do a revival?

I know it’s 10 years later but that would make a great snowdog ! Among with a 6 1/2hp HF motor and a belt clutch ! Lol

lol that's kinda hilarious. my hat's off to you, i never would have attempted something like that with just that little bit to work with. hey you better get those bogies unceased. last winter, my bro and i overhauled a kitty kat we fixed everything that could possibly go wrong. we used this rust eating stuff to uncease the bogies hey that thing kinda reminds me of my motoski which had a good track and motor but everything else was junk. i sold the track but still have the motor

neetest thing on youtube but i noticed that the revs go up and down couldnt you just take off the governor type thing by the flywheel. and you shold make it tons faster by switching the belt pulleys
