The Mamamoo Multiverse enters alternate fictional dimensions, not just alternate possible lives for the members as in Hip. In the teaser they seem to be playing four completely different characters from children's stories, legends and fairy tales. I think the main story is Scheherazade because that's the world we see in the concept photo and the final scene in the teaser. Wheein as Schehera-pup tells tall tales and the other members role play the characters, tho why Wheein is wearing that hat with the beaded fringe is a mystery (and perhaps a clue - see below): Hwasa as a dominatrix tooth fairy from a child's nightmare, Moonbyul as an anime Robin Hood, and Solar in a double role, playing Frida Kahlo as Rapunzel (unibrow + extremely long hair). As to what it all means the only clue I see is that since each member's character has some mismatched, out of place or inappropriate element so maybe Aya has something to do with our penchant for fantasizing about impossible things and larger than life characters. We love to invent and tell stories and love to suspend disbelief and listen to them and that inspires us and keeps us going even tho we know they're fictional. After all, the reason Scheherazade told her many tales was to keep herself alive, one day at a time. My ideas may be crazy but they're no less crazy than whatever Mamamoo has cooked up for us in Aya. 😏
