Took 2 days..The Hardest Rug of my life!

Hello Friends!
l cleaned the most stubborn carpet of my life today. When l say it will be cleaned right now, it's like we're going back to the beginning :) 1 day was not enough to clean this dirty carpet. l finished the cleaning work on the second day. l hope you enjoy watching this challenging process .

I can't believe that it's such a light background! I really thought that it would be either grey or sage green, but I was SO wrong. What a wonderful cleaning job you did on a rug that looks like it was used to line the floor of a coal storage depot.

Одновременно и благородный и неблагодарный труд ,а с другой стороны посмотреть человек создает порядок даёт вещам вторую жизнь .Я допустим свои ковры и хлопаю и протираю и пылесошу но на такую стирку отдавать боюсь а вдрг с них польётся что то подобное мне будет стыдно .

Concordo com você. Eu colocaria em cima de um tablado telado para que a sujeira grossa saísse logo, enquanto isso eu bateria ele emborcado, depois deixaria de molho no sabão, para só depois usar a máquina.

That was a tough clean. Seems like the dirt was so down into the fibers of the rug that it just didn't want to let go of all the dirt. Quite stubborn but you prevailed. Your determination to get it clean is amazing and you did a great job. The final product is amazing.

Genuine question. Why would you not vacuum off all that loose dirt and debris before starting with the water? The black dust puffed up into the air as you unrolled the rug. Wetting it immediately and then scrubbing just forced all the loose dirt further into the pile, and probably caused the job to take much longer. Nice result though.

Yes, I always wonder with these rug cleaning videos if there’s a more efficient way than just dousing with water at the start. Also, can’t they just hang the rug vertically to rinse first and let the dirt fall off of both sides instead of letting the dirt trap below the rug? They could also save on water this way.

I believe they filter the used water and use it again, so water useage isnt much of a problem

also the dust coming off is probably exactly why they don't. itd be unsafe to kick up all that dust and breathe it in, who knows what it could be

This rug was one of a kind. I cant explain, but the dirt seems to be some kind of dye in the beginning. It was a black water, not a normal “brown water” of the others. The ways that it swirls when you put the detergents on was different. Mesmerizing. Excelent work!

One tuff small rug to clean.. No wonder lots of people just throw the rugs away after getting dirty..Cleaning up a nice rug, or a walkway carpet runner, is easier said than done.. Great end result on this one though..💯💖💞🎥🎬👍😊⭐⭐⭐⭐💎💎💎💎💎

I do the same with doormats in my shower tray, a hundred times foaming, brushing, scrubbing and watering... just the small ones. Most of the dirt is black garden soil and there's no different way. Hoovering is not enough. After a while, it smells like compost or a wet dog. My personal life hack was: Just buy the doormats in dark colours like black, dark grey or brown. You can't win this fight. I leveled down to the hygienic factor and the smell, no longer to a perfect look. I don't have your patience for that. 😂 The more I love to watch this video. In fact, I do love this, but my body is also too weak for so much passion. ❤

Сколько мороки. Некрасивый грязный ковер проще выкинуть. Он маленький. Я такой в ванне стираю. Замочить в мыльной воде. Потом разматывая и сворачивая с другую сторону чищу щеткой. Потом заливаю в нескольких чистых водах. К конце вытаскиваю постепенно, споласкивая чистой водой. Под действием силы тяжести грязь каждый этап сама из ковра опускается вниз. Чисто и никакого танца со шваброй в сапогах выплясывать не надо на мокром кафеле. Чего на решетку его не положишь, чтобы грязь сама стекала? Или на перекладину? Чего шваброй гонять, когда она сама вниз стечет. За столько времени рационализировать не додумался? У русских учись.

Ich gucke viele Videos von Dir und ich bin immer erstaunt, wieviel Schmutz in den Teppichen ist, aber dieser war wirklich schlimm. Der hat bestimmt im Kohlenkeller gelegen. Es sah nach Ruß aus. Ich hatte mal solchen Fall bei mir zu Hause, als der Schornstein repariert werden musste. Ich wohnte in einem sehr alten haus mit sehr dicken Wänden. Ein Ofenanschluss musste neu gemacht werden, da ist die 300 Jahre alte Esse teilweise zusamnengebrochen. Der Ruß ist durch alle Ritzen in der Wohnung gekrochen, in alle Schränke, durch alle Türen. Die ganze Wohnung war schwarz und es war eine Katastrophe. Ruß ist sehr fettig , bis die Wohnung wieder bewohnbahr war, vergingen Wochen. Hast Du gut gemacht. 🤗

That rug looked like it should have been with the power hose for a couple of hours. It probably would have saved your poor back. Have you ever thought about getting a wet suit to wear for rugs like this one, when you got to bend down a scrub by hand and not to mention keeping your clothes dry. That rug came out beautifully. So much of the soil was black. Had the rug been in a fire? Once more, I applaud your conservation efforts with water and cleaner. Where many use water to clear away grime around the crug, you use your own muscles and a scraper.

From someone who worked in the fabric cleaning business, that's not dirt it's dye. Looks like the owners may have tried a home shampooer on a rug with water soluble dye around the trim. By repeat scrubbing you remove excess dye. It is amazing to see them make the light areas bright again. Great job.

Had I’d been 35 years younger I would have loved this job. Such great satisfaction to bring a rug back to life. This one is definitely fire spot and fire smoke damage.
