Even TMC ran facilities are not concerned about how long it takes to load/unload. That's the drivers' problem. Unfortunately for the vast majority of facilities the only thing filing lengthy detention macro will yield is a phone call to try to hurry them up.

Actually sat at US Pipe in Lynchburg Va last Friday so long I did my full 10 hour reset. Oh! I am actually loaded with my first coil (TMC) and I watched your video on how to tarp a coil and mine looks just like the one you and your trainee did in the video. The only thing I didn’t see y’all do were the sides so I had to add more bungees at my load check. 👍🏾

Buffalo, NY. I delivered there once. Had that stainless rebar. It was a return from Omaha, NE. Paid well. They unloaded me the night I got there.

That place is absolutely horrible. I can probably been there 15 times once was parked up and still didn't leave till 4pm after they loaded the wrong stuff the first time. That door is a treat to get in on ice. The trailer does wonky things around that corner.

7 hours to load you get paid by hourly when you're getting loaded that long or is it strictly when you're driving

Only if the customer pays the detention pay if not then you get paid $0

Yeah man. I drove for TMC and never got paid for detention. Got tired of not making money so I left them. Kept having to pay the tolls for the truck could never get approved to go through the toll booths and the out of route I would have ate was bad so. Yeah. TMC was complete trash. I make twice as much with less hassle and I drive a 379 and only tarp maybe 3 times a month.
