What is most important to you when choosing a phone? 🤔
@Aco747lyte2 жыл бұрын
Presently I'm waiting for the iPhone 14, then after waiting a few weeks, hope to get an iPhone 13 or the 'Pro for a lower monthly contract deal. Therefore for me, the most important is budgeting for one of the super 13's! By the way Dion, I take it that either phone will allow for E-book reading given the correct kindle app? BTW, great video presentation and many thanks! ~Wendi 🌻

A smartphone's display matters to me but still less than speed, smoothness, taking videos and longevity of support. I would *never* trade my *gorgeous* 'midnight'-colored iPhone SE 2022 for a Pixel 6A because of these priorities. And since here in the U.S. the SE 3 is actually available for as little as *$349* .... well, you get the picture.

The worst thing about the SE camera for me is a lack of night mode. It's dreadful in low light compared with the 6a.

Fantastic video--even handed and accurate. Both are excellent phones for the price. Still, I am grieved that both phones have been slightly dumbed down to meet their respective niches--and with minimal or no cost savings. In particular, the Pixel 6a has no wireless charging and the iPhone SE has just too small a screen and no dark mode photography.

I know this is old but when you got to performance you only mentioned ios optimisation you never mentioned that the a15 chip is also just a lot more powerful than tensor. It benchmarks over 30 percent higher and is better for 3d rendering and gaming in general, i dont even have an iphone but that seems an important point to make

Another excellent video, Dion. Your amazing comparisons of the Pixel 6A and the iPhone SE 3 are *spot-on.* It seems it's very, very close to a 'tie' for me, although as I think I've mentioned previously, I actually *prefer* LCD screens! I think the colors *'pop'* better and the overall warmness of the display in general looks very pleasing to the eye. It's all about what is important to the individual user as well as how much money one has to work with. I like *both* of these phones, but I could never part with my 'midnight'-colored SE 3.

Hey man, I don't agree with your (false) notion of ios being more reliable or stable than Android. *Secondly,* It doesn't matter if the iPhone SE gets 5+ years of support, it already looks like a relic even today. Even the iPhone 13 would be quite outdated 5 years down the line just like how the iPhone 8 is now. On top of that, you never get newer fancy flagship features on older iOS devices. A simple Night-mode is still missing on the ultra-wide lens of iphone 11 and SE doesn't even have it, lol. *Lastly,* the reason why iOS is slightly more fluid is mostly due to Apples focus on less features, no real multi-tasking and almost no customisation. *Reviewers criticized Pixel 6A's 60Hz so badly but Apples omission of ultra-wide lens and no night-mode on SE 2022 with a 750p lcd display got an easy pass, a sad reality indeed.* Cheers.

The 6a is made for adults, the se is made for kids. Your ios bias really came out in this vid. Google and Samsung offer such good trade in values, the resale advantage is misleading. I got my 6a for 150 after trade in plus free pixel earbuds.

The SE 3 has a definite place with a lot of older folks like myself. We don't need battery life to last for 6.5 straight hours each day. We don't care about bezels and we like TouchID and Home buttons. The SE 3 is a *great* phone, as is the Pixel 6A. Why slam one over the other? It serves no purpose. It all depends on what the user wants in 'plus' versus 'minuses' for *them* . I recently got an iPhone 13 mini *FOR FREE* and I *love* it, especially in Apple's gorgeous 'midnight' color. It fit my miserly budget!
