Being that long locked up and isolated usually does result in increased conversation skills but the opposite, usually the only thinks comes out of long term isolation is reflection and depression since the body has nothing to do . But idk . I personally wouldn't trust him but his face seems to be lively for a person locked up which is strange to me but it's much different than the 1st time . Dude's a truly dark, depraved individual with a mind broken and marred by many years of parental neglect/a damaged familial bond and the negative outcomes associated with consistent drug use. As he himself said in one of the interviews, I hope that being in prison is helping him learn just how badly he hurt those who's relatives he chose to kill during his rampage. My heart and thoughts are with those who lost loved ones at the hands of this man. God rest their souls and may Jaime Cárdenas Pardo face the justice he's due. I'll also add onto what others have said. This man's truly disturbed because being able to compare his 'work' to that of a butcher is downright morbid and inhumane. It's also incredibly hard to believe that he feels any degree of regret for what he did. All he did during the interviews was blame others for letting him fall off the deep end or say his drug use was the cause. I agree that those factors can really impact one's future and ability to become more 'normal', but every individual who isn't suffering from seriously debilitating disability has at least a small amount of agency in determining the path that they choose to follow. And while I vehemently despise the things he did and the way he hurt so many people, his acknowledgement of the way that the criminal justice system in his country, (and the world at-large,) handles individuals who suffer from major mental health issues couldn't be more spot-on. It isn't helpful to perpetuate the so-called 'revolving door of crime and punishment' as a sort of panacea that serves as a key to solving these issues. There has to be a better way for people like this to receive services to rehabilitate and heal them when they clearly need serious help breaking out of the unfortunately redundant cycles of bad mental health/substance abuse. We can and should be better.

There was one who was caught in Mexico, he called himself the hand with his eyes, and confessed to some crimes, but he laughed at justice, almost feeling untouchable, not repentant because they know how prison, courts, etc. work down there.

Does that mean you won’t change either? Maybe we should watch out for you.

No remorse, just excuses. He wishes they had a pill that would make him forget his crimes. How about all his victims families chip in to buy him a cyanide tablet? I am sure it isn't costly and he could have all his dreams come true. Or has someone already killed that rabid animal?
