Yes suspensions were helpful getting into driveways but most of the reason was to do with the police pulling over lowered cars and ticketing them.

Correct, it's just something to do on a car like drifting I dont understand it and does it not just ruin wheels and suspension. Yes but it's a "thing" same with drag racing ruining several motors in a season. Its just what it's made for. These cars are the same. Built for either display and exhibition or for competition hopping and street exhibition as noted. Break it and rebuild it. Also note that most if not all these vehicles are reinforced above what standard production vehicles to withstand the abuse.

Amazing how much misinformation there still is about air and hydros after all these years. To all the hydros haters: you dont know shit, plain and simple. You can have a one or two pump set up with just one or two batts, you dont need a truck load of batteries if you donr wanna hop. Using the right coil for your car you can still ride as comfy as if it was a stock car. Hydros are traditional, but with todays know how its a whole other planet. You want bags? Fine, nothin wrong with it, and there are rather trick n powerful set ups that allow you to hop as good as with hydros. The problem for most of the hardcore riders is that they sound like crap and they are not the traditional way. And the suspension you roll has nothin to do with how the car looks. Jeeeezus!

because it's a deville and you probably refer to a fwd model I'd say bags with a strut set up. droz can be done too but might be more expensive in the end. and bags will take less space

It's up to you. It's a personal preference. bags are less of a hassle when it comes to maintenance I think. I have both but luckily I haven't had any problems. With hydros, you have more of a chance for some kind of failure simply because of the more technical aspect of the installation and equipment. For a daily driver, I prefer airbags.

I have a 1954 Chevy Bel-Air on bags. All I want is something clean and less of a hassle compared to hydros. Don't get me wrong. I love hydros but not for my Chevy. I have hydros on my Cadillac.

Jacob Townsend I have had both, and you wont be saying bags are in when you stuck on the side of the road with a popped bag, with dros well at least you can lock them up with fluid, you cant do that with bags, but every one has there preferences

My blazer /daily driver is bagged and i lost an air line,it dropped all the way down but i was still able to drive it home
