Great taste my girl! This song is an homage to the comedian Bill Hicks, who was great friends with the band and had a comedy album called Arizona Bay. He had moved to LA (where ᎢᎾᎾᏞ is from) and hated the "fakeness" of the ppl there. He died very young from cancer in the 90s. It's serious...but a tongue in cheek homage to their friend

Impressed again after hearing tool knowledge. Jess You and my gf Kat would be best friends be besties lol. In addition to the Arizona bay, There is no bay in Arizona.... ;) but there might be if a comet falls from they sky... there might be when water levels rise from climate change.... perhaps when there is an earthquake on the San Andreas fault line line after L.A. and the rest of cali break off into the ocean lol! I'm sure Maynard is ok with all these as long as it takes out L.A. hahaha. Also Maynard lives in Arizona. He has a Vinyard there (and makes fantastic wine), a Restaurant, and i think a few other establishments? He is one of few famous ppl with their own wine label that ACTUALLY is a part of making the wine too. Not that snoop dogs wine 19 crimes is bad.... but we all know he isn't there doing some of the work. He also employs a LARGE # of the ppl of the little town he moved to and has helped it bounce back and thrive. There are at least 4 not and all like 3 hours long but they go deep into things. Jess prob already knows, but anyone me watching who enjoyed. Maynard Is also also responsible for the bands A Perfect circle and Puscifer. All 3 bands have a dif sound and purpose. Puscifer was more so for maynard to have a creative outlet for all his ideas and music that didn't fit into tool or apc. But lately puscifer and its wild chaotic crazyness at the beginning seems to have formed finally into what its supposed to be. Right now They are on tour in real life, i just saw in in San antonio on the 22nd this month. The tour had a similar set up to a live online show they produced while Covid was still keeping us all locking indoors. It's called "Aliens in the desert" and they just just had a live show (unfortunatly only for one week live) where they remixed a bunch of old puscifer songs. However I believe they plan on releasing this to buy or download again soon. The indigo children remix was WILD! If you do any puscifer please do: indigo children, mama sed, Bread and circus, the remedy (official video) Anyways I enjoy the info you guys have on all the bands, I'll finally hit the subscribe button lol. thanks!

Ironically in 1993 Tool was hired to play two shows at the Scientology Celebrity Centre in LA. I guess they thought Tool might attract younger "victims" for the "church" to screw with. It certainly did not go as well as the "church" hoped. There is footage of it 🤣 But it is from '93 so don't expect 4k

If you want to show James what really makes Tool... Tool, aside from the lyrical prowess and not dissing the rest of the band. Check out Danny Carey Pneuma. The man is a beast on the drums and does things that most simply cannot do. It's not easy to react to since the vocals are in the background, but it shows the strange, non-traditional, complex time signatures that gives Tool their unique sound (major part at least)... so it's more to watch on your own if you'd like, have a great week! kzbin.info/www/bejne/fKTWhn-EfLiNf6M
