This song is so unique in Tool's catalog, because I think it's the only time an outside vocalist appears. Henry apparently wrote his verse too, so this is the only Tool song that has a songwriting credit from someone who isn't a band member.

That spoken word was Henry Rollins on this Track. Things in the 90s was deep. And this band was it. I was 12 when I first heard this song. I am now 40 and I live seeing you go ham to one of my favorites songs ever.

There are some live recordings on the first EP Opiate, and some remastered audio/video from that era on KZbin. Up to and including Aenima, Maynard was positioned upfront onstage closest to the audience. I got to see that version of TOOL, A LOT of times (with Maynard up front ) Each time as mesmerizing as the last. I do understand why and like the decision to move to the back of the stage (I can watch Danny play drums all day just by himself) as it highlights the rest of the band/music and really compliments the visuals/lightshow they have developed.
