If you’re hoping to discover the best way to identify traditional coppersmithing / tinsmithing machines (sometimes called hand-crank or rotary-hand machines) this video will give you close-ups and identification factors for knowing what you’re looking for and what you are buying as you build up your own tinshop! I’m also giving you what to look for to make sure you can (hopefully!) buy whole machines that won’t need a lot of work or repair - and to hopefully steer you away from buying machines that are broken, damaged, or missing pieces.
This episode is all about #1 - the Burring Machine!
This series just covers the machines I have here in my shop. There are other machines out there that I don’t have, but will try to film with Bob in his much bigger tinshop in the near future.
