Alien has a good and stable vehicle carry. it's going to depend on your tastes whether you like it or not. It is a bit bulky and not great concealment depending on your vehicle. You'll never get a draw based the image at 2:22 because of the steering wheel alignment and full release required. But it looks cool.

Unfortunately they do not make a shaper shift holster for my firearm and the straps do not fit underneath my seat because there is no gap between the floor and seat in my car

I got this for my car about a year ago. Loved it’s use for practically and ease of location. I’ve got a new car with much stiffer seats and now this makes my legs begin to fall asleep during longer car rides. Anyone have any solutions/recommendations to this?

Seems good but I worry about hitting the holster with my leg every time I enter/exit. My current setup is a holster affixed under the steering wheel. This works well for me and I don't see a better option for me at this time.

Michael Shaw it's a leather holster, universal gun fit that attaches to the trim piece under ur steering wheel. Got it from the NRA store website don't remember actual name but you can find it easily at NRA store. Don't need to be a member. Not the most secure and won't hold every gun (1911's) but it works for me. Several options similar check amazon or just Google under steering wheel holster I'm sure you will find something.

What about something that uses the shapeshift system, but mounts to the interior of the car? Is there anything like that?

Can the retention get tight enough for a violent car incident?

There is a secondary retention mechanism that locks the trigger guard in the holster until you press down with your thumb.

several issues with this>>> one people in taller cars ,trucks and the drive thru can see your firearm and most will call the police or just freak out on spot,especially drive thru...second getting pulled over cop will see it as they walk up to window you are now at gun point and being yelled at let me see your hands by the officer then pulled out of the car, cuffed and detained.....then theres rubbing with your leg while driving, if you drive a stick shift even more uncomfortable, and also having to sit with legs wide open because the fire arm is there.... just for starters...thanks for the review ...
