They sound heavier because they tune this to Drop C instead of D for this song, because Maynard can't consistently sing as high as the recorded version when they play live. Some people prefer this version, I personally don't, but to each their own.

I was at this show. Never been so tightly packed into a crowd in my entire life. About halfway through the set I was getting claustrophobic so I decided to start working my way towards the back. As I'm weaving my way through the massive crowd I walked into a mosh pit. This girl grabbed my arm and said, "Are you sure u want to go in there?" I told her I'd take my chances, lowered my head, and walked into the mosh pit. Literally, a split second later....BOOM!!! This guy ran into me. His face collided with the top of my head and he got knocked out cold. I wasn't phased at all by the impact. So as he's laying on the ground twitching, I simply chuckled, shook my head, and kept moving towards the back of the crowd. Me: 1 Mosh Pit: 0
