If cheap works even with a little help to break nuts/bolts it will usually be good enough for the dIYer in my opinion, if you are a pro and using all day everyday then may be worth spending more, but high price does not always correlate to high quality.

Your Milwaukee is also made overseas 🤣 even my Camaro was sold as made in America, come to find out all the parts were built in Canada, sent here to the U.S, and then assembled here.

I can use the ratchet itself to break loose by hand. I'm more interested in how easy it is to use the reverse switch. It looks like the green one has the best handle.

To be fare, clamp the bolt head in the vice. Clamping the nut could distort it and each time it’s used the nut wears a little, possibly making each successive use easier.

I'm at 20sec in the video and I'm very excited to see what happens. I'm about to buy one and I think this video is going to help. I will edit shortly. Edit: wish you had a digital torque reader. But I guess that's not the reason for these. After watching this video I've come to the conclusion I'm just going to buy the cheapest one. As much as I love Milwaukee I just can't justify $180 for one of these. For maybe a one or two foot pound difference sorry can't justify it. I am a total Milwaukee guy but I've been on the fence for one of these electric ratchets. Definitely going with the red one now It looks closest to the Milwaukee tools I have. lol

Hello I was searching the computer web sight for this very item of a cordless ratchet, low and behold I happen to stumble on your video review to compair three ( 3 ) of some name brands - I am impressed on how they will save me ( and others ) of using this tool instead of using a hand ratchet by keep on going on and on till the bolt becomes extracted out of a nut or some other fastener . I am I stated above I am impressed of the time saving it will save me . Very Good Video - also by ending I am going to subscribe to your channel .

I've heard some complain about the Ryobi battery pack if you look at the red/mil has a rounded bulky battery and Kimo same there and most on the market, the two that fits a mechanic not so much a contractor the Kobalt is great 24v @$99 it goes head to head with the beast 24v Makita @$180 So I'd say Kobalt over any of these unless you don't need it for tight spaces you're good with Kimo looks nice and durable price point beats the Red comes with two batteries? and charger? Lol 😂 Yeah get it for now, it's a nice tool to have.

How are some other reviewers coming up with these breaking 25 ftlbs?? 🤷🏾‍♂️ Solid review bro, main thing is they shouldn’t be used for breaking anyway. Thanks ps the older AC Delco ratchets (ARW 1201) can break 35-39 ftlbs of torque and are heavy duty all metal, but the sacrifice is size (like twice as big/long than the Milwaukee I’d say).

I have the Milwaukee 3/8 and I don’t know if it’s his cheapo battery or he got a dud, but mine always gets bolts off that are 30ft lbs and even 35 if you start the ratchet first and then place the socket over the bolt. I also have the ryobi extended reach and that thing can break lose on its own nearly 60ft lbs!

So you’re using electric ratchets to simulate the job of a breaker bar? I’m a bit confused as to why? You state at the end of the video that they are Not made to break loose torqued bolts, but thats what you did in your video...lol
@rmjmotoring
@rmjmotoring 3 жыл бұрын
You do not need a breaker bar for under 30 ft lb of torque. And yes I did do it and also mentioned it should not be done. As most people will do it at some point. Thank you for watching the video

@davcar872
@davcar872 3 жыл бұрын
@@honor4thoseb471 You must be a special kind of stupid. You obviously missed the point of his review. The Milwaukee is listed @ 35 ft-Lbs. Kimo @ 40 ft-Lbs. Aoben @ 40 ft-Lbs of torque to remove or install nuts and bolts. They all failed at less than 10 ft-Lbs as expected because they are not designed to break or tighten beyond those specs, despite those tools marketed at 35 ft-Lbs+ of torque. They are not right-angle impact-rated wrenches. If you can't use cordless ratchets as a manual ratchet to first loosen or tighten and then power to finish, then you are just using a glorified powered screwdriver. Milwaukee and Makita can be used @ up to 50 ft-Lbs manually. Try that with the Aoben or Kimo and you'll wish you had purchased the Makita or Milwaukee.
