1:50 "Programmer". I think it would be quite interesting to have a dabble at E-Bike controllers, the typical generic Chinese type. I know many that would benefit on knowing how to. Interesting channel, I came for the screwdriver, staying to see what else you do. 👍

@skysurferuk I really like this idea mountain biking is one of my hobbies! I will look out for some faulty ones it would also be good to be able to extract a dump and modify the file to remove speed restriction and make adjustments. Ebike might be a bit out of my price range at the moment but definitely in the future

Set up looking pretty great 👌 quality and filming of your videos already good, don't worry about schedules - just put out good quality as you have been when you can. Definitely have the same microscope from your previous video on my list, seems to have a lot of bang for buck and form factor is what i've been looking for. Keep up the good work.

For the Aixun station: with the smallest handle (T115), unless I'm wrong and they do have a differently sized holder (and I could be wrong) it just doesn't 'dock' with the same feel as the other two handles due to how small and tapered the end is. You can still dock it to the holder, and as long as metal touches metal it can tell it is docked and go to low power mode, but as an alternate way (or it might be the primary way) to hold the T115 handle you can hang it from the little wand holder thingy. That's what the metal 'bulb' is there for further up on that handle, and why it is only on the T115 handle. On that electric screwdriver: I like that it is variably responsive just from an easy hand motion. Good and easy speed control is great to have. On KZbin and when to release videos: if this is for personal hobby purposes, don't sweat it and just publish videos when you feel like it. That's where I am, my releases are random and infrequent, but I'm not looking to 'make it' on the platform. If you specifically want to 'grow the channel' and pursue a goal of, say, making money from the ad revenue or be in a position to find sponsors, then a set schedule as a baseline is best. Figure out what pace of videos you feel is sustainable for you, if reasonable to do so then have your 'release schedule' be a tad slower than that (specifically for the purpose of building up a backlog of 1 or 2 videos so you can still release on schedule even if you have a mental block or are sick or have family stuff do do). Weekly is a fairly common baseline for channels looking to grow (not saying you can't release videos more often if you want, but letting your audience know there consistently will be a video on X day of the week is a good reminder of 'oh, hey, it's day X, JFIXX will have a new video out'. Scheduling release at the same time of day is also good so your audience knows when to check in. Also, building a video backlog will leave you in a position of being under less pressure overall - feel really creative and make 3 or 4 videos in a week? Great, you're set for a while. Don't have the mental energy to make a video for 2 or 3 weeks? Your backlog has you covered and you can still release on schedule.

I really appreciate your your feedback! You must be right about the Aixun solder station. I have received the new 115 handle that sent me and it's exactly the same as the the other one 😂 I am currently have it all in bits and I'm trying to modify it to work. I really like the idea of having a bank of videos ready to release I didn't think about that. I want to do youtube a just a hobby but it's also quite time consuming to create videos. I am currently just recoding on my phone and editing on my phone. I think once I get a proper setup it will speed up production. I'm looking to get an external pcie enclosure that can host an elgato 4k capture card and I can have all my inputs connected straight into OBS and record and stream from there. I would like to be able to live stream repairing things so I can get help from the community in learning. I feel the best way to learn for me is hands on and getting input from experienced people as well

If you press around the edges of the display frame with your fingers, do you hear any clicking sounds? In my unit, it sometimes clicks when I press on it, and I’m trying to figure out if it’s a defect or not.

About the uploading question at the end. Im not a youtuber but ive constantly heard and seen that the youtube algorithm prioritises consistancy over quantity. So its better to upload on a periodic basis and perferably weekly over anything, since many youtubers complain that they stopped uploading for a while or missed their usual upload period and fell out of the recommedation algorithm because of it.
