I've worked at CAT, Bobcat and now Kubota. Every VIM tool I own has held up well and the MAC guy that comes by our shop now keeps it on the truck. I even have a 15 year old gasket punch set that is still just as sharp as when it was new. These ratchets hold up better than the Red ones Nick in Jersey is always selling. I've had those fail.

I've had the HBR5 for a long time and it's my favorite tool for band clamps. The 5/16 and 1/4 are perfect for the band clamps I use. I picked it up at an O'Reilly Auto Parts on one of those cash register point of sales displays, kind of an impulse buy to be quite honest. It has been a great little wrench and was actually my first VIM tool.

I honestly would love to review tools again. I did that on my channel but few people care. Granted, I had a LOT of growing pains with my channel and just now Im growing fairly quick. I used to be a tool technician, fixing tooks, maintaining them etc, in the USAF. I also turned wrenches on aircraft too, then on cars outside the military. I have pet peeves with tools, and particularly some of the tool trucks. I love Snap-on, old MAC, old Matco etc. My box is a collection of every brand, Proto, old Craftsman, Williams, Facom, german brands, Russian tools, Ukrainian tools, Brazilian, and the list goes on. I love that just because Im weird (also speaking of OCD, I have spreadsheets with all my tools inventories and all that, plus I do pozitive locations, so shadow foam, Widgets, and I think the best combo for adaptability! Im pretty proud of my toolbox...who isnt, right?) Anyway. I dont have the means to go all Torque Test Channel (great guy), or even Project Farm (I served with him, and he was always a good dude, honest and upstanding) but I will try to add some VIMs to my box soon. The last company was Vampire, and I will say, their pliers are amazing. Over-engineered doesnt cover it lol. So my question is...what would you recommend to somebody that has it all? Any one specialized tool you have thats maybe more unique to VIM? Maybe a dif wrench set, the half-moons? Or distributor wrench set? I buy my own tools too, but that is on my list and was going to get S-O but my guy retired, so yeah. Im rambling lol...long day, gotta go do my workout. Oh, just for fun, Vampire's parent company, Engineer followed me on Twitter for a while. I sitll have like 20 people there since I dont use it, but I thought it was funny, and their mascot is very...VERY Japanese. I would like to do that one day, design a logo or mascot for a tool company, more in tune with our market here.

The bits for my RFB400 just pass completely through now. Love the set but that’s extremely frustrating which keeps me from using it much anymore.

Would you guys be able to design the hdr410 but with a quick release? The ratchet itself is great. The only drawback, when using stubby sockets like ones in the mms450 kit, sometimes it's a fight to get sockets off.

@@TheAllens315 he’s about to have a heart attack with his beef with Mr Subaru and grip edge. I own both the gear wrench set he’s pushing from apex which JDTCO heavily is in bed with and grip edge. Gear wrench aim and never will be what grip edge is. Grip edge is who makes MAC rbrt line.
