Welcome to Sleep Token. Typically, Alkaline isn't the song I'd recommend as the first of theirs you should listen to, simply because it's relatively short. Plus, it sounded like you were playing the track at either 1.25x or 1.5x its normal speed. I'd recommend you check out the videos for the songs "Jaws," "The Love You Want," and "Blood Sport (from the room below)". Their best songs imo are the ones that only have Visualizer style videos, though; specifically "Hypnosis," "Atlantic," "Higher," and "The Offering." Do a deep dive on Sleep Token. You won't be disappointed.. They don't conform to the rules of genres and won't be pigeonholed as any one specific style of music.

Music is for everyone." One of the best quotes I've ever heard. I don't think it's right to try to give sleep token a genre, because they meld so many different styles into a unique sound.

Welcome to Sleep Token! I'm a metal fan that fell in love with them a while back. Vessel's lyrics are incredible! Was on the barrier for their ritual in Greensboro a week + ago. Highly recommend Offering, Jaws, Hypnosis, Higher, Bloodsport (from the room below), High Water. Check out Offerings from II (drum play throughs) as well. Can't really go wrong. Worship!

So…. I’m not trying to be funny when I say this, but, everything they have is worth a listen. There isn’t a single song they have done that is bad. I’m not kidding. My personal favorites are “Dark Signs”, “The Offering”, “Nazareth”, “Missing Limbs”, and they even did their own cover of “Hey Ya” and it’s the most beautiful thing I’ve heard in a few years.
