On today’s episode, I share a tool from “Unflappable: How Smart People Quit Overthinking, Ditch the Drama, & Thrive at Work” to build our awareness muscle. Just like any other muscle, we need to exercise it to build it. How do we do that? With a tool from “Unflappable” of course! The BAT Method has three simple, yet powerful, steps: Be present, Ask questions, Try something new. By being in the moment we’re in, we can be calmer, clearer, and more UNFLAPPABLE. We can take better actions to fix the conflict and reduce the problems and stress in our work and personal lives by doing what WE can do differently.
