Every time I get frustrated, you come up with humor that eases my thinking. I had an Idea that I wanted to work with coral and jade, (not necessarily together), and didn't know how. Thsi method would work even if you were just making the rosette out of different colors of wood. Thank you again.

These two videos I have greatly appreciated. I first of all enjoy your precision and explanation of how to make your own rosettes. I am just a beginner and have only make one acoustic guitar with some instruction from a full time luthier. When I was studying with him he used many homemade jigs. So I appreciate how you make many tools yourself as it follows what I have learned and begun making myself. Please keep the jigs, fixture and just more videos coming and thank you for making them.

Thank you for sharing your ideas. My rosette tooling is really very similar to what you have shown here. I have used it for about a year now. The difference in mine is how the outer radius fixture is held and used on the disc sander. your fixture looks to be much easier to use so i am going to change mine. Many thanks, much appreciated.
