:-0 OMG. I don't think I've ever heard Mr. Kochanski swear before. Is this a sign of the coming apocalypse? I better start practicing my skills. ;-) Love him.

Such a wise man. How true his statement is of Latin and its rich lessons. To bad we are Rome now and are not heading it's lessons... Thank you Mors your humor is always uplifting too. We truly lucky you share this knowledge with us

Mors Kochanski is a tough old bastard and I mean that most respectfully. I think he would be a hard taskmaster to get marooned with and wouldn't suffer my foolishness gladly. Be that as it may, his message is always the same, keep it simple, keep it focused, don't waste time or effort on trivia. Thanks again for passing this on Mors.

Latin helps with learning foreign languages too. I'm sorry that I was never taught it at school.

Just a guess, but from the hints, I would say amanita muscaria (formosa) was the mushroom. I ate a lot of them once and the saliva that poured out of my mouth was unbelievable.

Yep. It is the self published (photocopied) manual from Karamat. You get it when you enroll in one of their summer or winter courses.

Good information, but some of it should be updated. For example, 40 days without food is not accurate. People have gone a year without food without any adverse health issues. Of course that doesn't mean that all people can live a year without food, nor should they.
