This was a great video. I'm an English speaker, and I got way too many of these wrong. I recalled names that went out of fashion, and although I had heard the newer names, I have not adopted them into my usage. Very interesting.

whats the difference between electril drill and perforator?
@EnglishTestBlog Жыл бұрын
Great question! 🛠️ An electric drill is versatile and used for drilling holes in various materials. On the other hand, a perforator, also known as a rotary hammer or hammer drill, is designed for heavier tasks like drilling into concrete or masonry. It combines rotation with a hammering action. Think of the electric drill as an all-rounder and the perforator as a specialist for tougher jobs! 🏗️ If you have more questions, feel free to ask!

I'm pretty sure that Wheelbarrow is also called Wheel-Barrel. The Hammer is also called a Claw Hammer. Because there are all kinds of hammers: Shop hammer, Ball-Peened hammer, Finishing hammer, Roofing hammer, Sheetrock hammer, Framing hammer, Jack Hammer, Slag hammer, War hammer, etc..
@jt949811 ай бұрын
Uh no, it's not wheel barrel. The proper term is wheel barrow. To some, it "sounds" like wheel barrel.

1:19 It's not Plane but Planner.
@EnglishTestBlog Жыл бұрын
Both "plane" and "planner" are different tools used for distinct purposes: Plane: A plane is a tool used in woodworking and carpentry to shave off thin layers of wood or other materials. It has a sharp blade that, when properly adjusted, can create smooth surfaces. Planner: A planner, on the other hand, is a tool or tool-like device used for organizing schedules, tasks, and appointments. It helps individuals plan and manage their time effectively.
