Didn't know you couldn't take it to the car wash anymore. Didn't know you had to tell the cops. Also didn't know about gas and the sun issues. Thanks for this.

Biggest con I see is the weather issue. If I park my car outside in an area that has 90 degree plus weather in the summer, over time that might become an issue.

Great contents. 😊 Just got PPF with XRPlus Xpel and ceramic coating but there were so dozens small bubbles and loose edges at many corners after installation. Installer said its normal and still in curing period. Bubbles will disappear and edges will stick after use heat gun. Is this supposed to happen?
@Toolsplit2 ай бұрын
Thanks...actually No, bubble aren't supposed to appear after installation, even if they appear, the installer is supposed to use the heat gun at the point of installation so that those bubbles don't come up in the first place. The thing with the edges tho, that's just bad.
@angelparis20712 ай бұрын
@@Toolsplit Installer says on fresh install PPF, they dun use heat gun until after 3 weeks curing process is pass; otherwise, the films will burn. They also said bubbles is normal and will go away.

For con #2, does it matter if you get for example a dragon design on your car, but the base color is still black, or even getting a matte black wrap, but the normal color is still black? Or would you still have to notify with the specifics of the wrap?
@Toolsplit Жыл бұрын
This depends on where you live, for some states you need some sort of approval for decals for others not so much. generally if the art isn't promoting a business or product, you should be ok

Double protection and cost. They’ll charge you to wrap the car in both materials. It’s used if they don’t have the color of ppf you want & you want to protect the vinyl wrap

the wrap looks dope, it looks more "beasty"....this is how it was meant to look 🙂 I want a wrap for my is 250 but I'm scared because I park under the sun all day long

@Toolsplit7 ай бұрын
From our almost 1 year experience, I’d say ours is doing well, without any fade, and it gets used every single day under the insane African heat. Normally a good quality wrap should last at least 3 years under direct sunlight, before any signs of fade or peeling should appear!
