Ahhhh! Yesss! Thanks for uploading this. Those were the good ole times. Do you happen to have Toon Disney commercial breaks during Shnookums and Meat from that year? This was before TaleSpin went on hiatus and didn’t re-air until the second era of Toon Disney in September 2002.

Probably because airing a cartoon about airplanes shooting at each other wasn't going to fly in the face of certain recent events-no pun intended. Surprisingly, it was decided that both Gargoyles (which takes place in NYC) and Aladdin (set in ancient Arabia) were okay to keep being played. Disney's is quite a bizarre mindset.

The CN commercial you’re talking about is from 1996 and lasted for years. So it definitely predates the Toon Disney one.
