Hallo, toon only player here. This is a rather lackluster variant of berry toons with the fusion sideplan, a list that has existed for ages now but has been wildly powercrept by straightforward Spellcaster Toons (no magician girls aside from chocolate and berry, but a toon core with 3 TDMs and 3 Dark Magic Veil) and both Rank7 and R4nk toons, all of them KoG capable. Invoked Toons had a period of glory in the past before the Cocytus ban because Mermaid is Water, but that line is dead for obvious reasons. While this list has a lot more playable hands than one would expect, the main problem is how little the toons add to the list. It is essentially a handicapped Invoked Magician Girls list more than a toon list, because hard-drawing into TDMG or Kingdom is always going to be less useful than the alternatives you could be running in those. The absolute tell of how little the toon gameplan adds or matters here are the Kiteroids: toons as a whole do not like handtraps, but even by that metric Kiteroid is by far one of the worse for the archetype because on a Kingdom setup you can never activate it, since you're being hit over indestructible attack position toons and never directly. Any toon deck in this day and age would run monster negation or consistency boosting over it. So to summarise, this manages to be worse than both a toon list or a magician girl list, which is quite an achievement by itself since both decks have solid gameplans that usually don't mesh this poorly.

@@CThom18 For what variant, exactly? Toons can be played in a myriad of ways. Berry Toons is loosely "any list for which the main gameplan is TDMG through berry magician girl as a summon from the deck" that runs It's a Toon Word! as a skill and other magician girl/spellcaster support, usually Chocolate at the very least. Emperorbob1 on reddit popularised running 3 veils on them, and other versions ran Toon Mermaid with the Invoked engine pre-cocytus ban or leaned super hard into the Magician girl side and ran Magicalised Fusion into Quintet as an alternative wincon. This is what we're seeing here, but extremely diluted, with all the clashing wincons at the same time, and with terrible staples. Pure Toons are "lists that aim to swarm with toon monsters and maximise Kingdom consistency", which mandates 5+ kingdom searchers and they often don't run It's a Toon World! because consistency boosting skills serve them better and non-class-1 toons can be played without World on the field anyways. Planet Pathfinder and Demise of the Land are the generic field searchers, but these lists tend to go for the TDM summon through Veil or Black Stone of Legends (which is a Toon Red-Eyes, and therefore acts as a Veil without the LP cost and leaving a monster). They are also absolutely fantastic rank 7 engines, on par or better with DM itself, which in Duel Links translates to "they have Dracossack on command" and little else. Insight Toons are another fairly popular variant, it's an OTK list that runs Red-Eyes Insight as a delayed Toon Red-Eyes summon from the deck, and in doing so kills the turn after. Insight, set Spirit, foolish TRE. End of opponent turn, activate Spirit for TRE, summon TDMG from hand with it, hit with both. IaTW! or a guaranteed draw skill (Sorc Conduit/Destiny Draw). They were super popular for half a year after the RE structure deck, but they're way too slow nowadays, if still a decent deck if you like them. DM toons are dead because of the Rod and Navigation hits. Press F to yadda yadda. Synchro Toons are either Toolboxes or AFD Turbo. Toolboxes lean towards Right/Left drivers as a synchro engine to clean the board and set up TDMG, AFD turbo starts with a field spell skill (usually Sartorius's Light barrier, because Reasons) and play Psi-Reflector as a 1-card Ancient Fairy Dragon, which trades the Light Barrier for Kingdom. Both are wildly inconsistent and probably the least touched mainstream toon lists nowadays. Finally there's R4nk Toons, which are kind of a staple when it comes to toon variants on the cardboards and there they recieved a fantastic boon last year with Harpie Lady, but we don't have that (nor lightning, nor zerofyne, nor castel, nor tornado dragon, nor bagooshka...) The central idea to them is that Toon Mermaid is a non-opt free summon, and hypersearcheable with TtoC. In Duel Links, an eventual R4nk toons list has a higher theoretical ceiling because It's a Toon World! forgoes the need for Kingdom turn 1, but right now needs to be complemented by the Stick and Chair engine, other r4nk swarm tools (tingoldfish, dynatherium, goblindergh...) or Berry TDMG. Or, well, all of the above. They have a truly fantastic metagame right now because they spit out Roaches like candy, and 80% of the metagame loses to turn 1 Steelswarm Roach. So you know. Take your pick.

I have tried something similar to this in the past but I was significantly worse at deck building then and dropped the idea. Didn't have all the cards either.... Glad you made this video to bring it back. Been using this deck nearly 1:1 and have been having a ton of FUN and I'm sending kids back to Fortnite. I'd really been struggling with my Subterrors so I'm happy to have a replacement. And, surprisingly, I have yet to run into another. I always feel like I run into someone using your exact deck list after a video comes up. But that has yet to happen.

( what is your favourite and are you P2W or F2P ??!’ ); you can build a consistent SHS deck for one complete box emptied easily ( dk regularly recommends ritual beast ) a lot of people recommend these farm decks yubel , winged dragon of ra & Amazon plus red eyes they simple and quick decks to build your choice not mine, I just bought three noble night structure decks and had a nice OTK deck enjoy the game that is all , sorry I’m not that much knowledgeable butt hey that’s my six scence good luck… ( ;)

yah putting invocation to the limited 3 list was way too harsh. it was fine with Aleister only being on the limited 3 but both of em was overkill. they banned Cocytus so doing all that other limiting was way too much now invoked is a 3 card main deck core. its still not bad but only having 1 invocation isn't that great you can barely make 2 invoked summons now in one turn n only if yer lucky. but i did have fun with invoked that whole yeer n a half when he was meta so its fine but ik how konami is with freeing limited cards so we'll never ever see Aleister free ever again :/ and i dink Cocytus is staying banned since they never freed a banned card ever before. but Aleister is a one card combo so he's easy to throw in decks its just a lot of decks reely need their normal summons and there's not many fire decks around fer Aleister to feed on or fire monsters to use in yer main deck. but Aleister will return one day! ＼(^^)／ jus gotta wait fer the right meta
