Outstanding series on easily creating tracks and mixing with the EZ ToonTrack products. Really well done. Thanks so much, Mike.

Valuable videos. As a first time user of EZ Bass, EZ Keys and EZ Drummer-I have finally put together that "full band" sound. No more druggies, no more egos, no one telling me it's too loud. Only complaint I have is the GUI's of all your products. 1.) Too damn small-I can only sit and look for so many hours, dragging/dropping song pieces, then going in/out to lengthen/shorten the midi parts. Invariably, I end up changing the original midi piece only to go back to each midi part , join them and see if they "Fit"! 2.) You need to provide a "sandbox area in each product below the timeline where a user could drag/drop parts of a Bass, Keys or Drums to test out. It's so very tedious to want to add a midi part to an existing time line-make it bigger, copy part/midi..then place cursor at exact point-more times than not, I end up overwriting what I have. A sandbox area would benefit users to drag/drop midi pieces to test out without disrupting what you created in the first place. If anyone has thoughts as to how this can be done, from a workflow perspective, please comment. Final analysis though is that 35 years ago-this software wasn't even thought of. So in that respect, I'm happy to be have it.

Hi Michael. Thanks for your feedback and suggestion! We will forward this to our development team!

I usually create multiple tracks inside the plugin (EZbass/Superior Drummer 3) to experiment with different variations of an arrangement. Adding multiple tracks kind of works like a sandbox area in other words:)

@@neospora6678 I'll try that. last night I came up with a really nice drum beat..to which I sing & play along with. So the drum beat is 4 bars, lengthened to 8. Its a I, IV, V progression, except I needed to add a fill for the turn-around-which was tedious-I lengthened one midi part only to find it didn't fit, then I shortened it. The timeline has a tendency to jump-so yes, I ended up creating a fill over what I liked (this cut the 8 bars down to 5-6-hence, your back to dragging the midi left/right again-find the sweet spot and start all over again. Your idea is certainly worth a try though. Thank you so much for your response! Best Regards.

@@toontrack Thank you Sir. If I may add, since I found Studio One, it has allowed me to, at the very least, to make a "commercial" recording of my guitars/Lead and vocals. I was using the installed drum sounds with an Atom. But two finger drumming, editing the midi parts made me exhausted and near blind. Then I found Toontrack-EZ Drummer, EZ keys and EZ bass. Well, all I can say is that I now sound like I have a whole band behind me (people are asking me-who is playing, where is your next gig)? Toontrack products are "Light Years Ahead" of ANY and ALL products I have tried. Spent hours trying to integrate Steven Slate Drums with my Atom-found that the 2-finger method and subsequent exhaustive procedures to "create" music! I had a full working Blues Rock song the very first weekend I owned Toontrack products! I will state the fact again:Toontrack products are "Light Years Ahead" of ANY and ALL products. In closing-your response was greatly appreciated. Nice to know there's people at the other end vs. a email response from other companies that is meaningless. Best Regards to you Sir. Thank you!
