In a tribute that is a result of the persons death you are not supposed to outshine them because it's tacky and classless. Those performances are to showcase the work of the original artist and nothing more. While I am a huge Natalie fan from the seventies I know that Ledisi would've eaten her up for breakfast, lunch and dinner in her hayday that is just fact. I have heard Ledisi say on several occasions of how the etiquette of tributes are supposed to go, which shows her very own grace and class!!!!! Out
