I’ve been a MM fanatic for over 30 years and it still pisses me off they made Gutstank so easy. He’s one of the most aesthetically dominating bosses in the franchise but goes down like a wimp. In like a lion, out like a dog. What a waste!

@@RamManNo1 as a kid, that boss was one of the first screenshots of MM2 when it was first announced in Nintendo Power (God I'm old!!) and I was like a kid in a candy store as far as NES graphics went. I really thought Giant Gutsman was going to eat MM for lunch and dinner and calling more for seconds getting his ass handed to him. Boy, was I so wrong! But MM2 still holds dearly in my heart and childhood and is in my favorite top 10 games of all time.

My thoughts on the turtle dispenser from Megaman 3 is that if you can beat a boss without moving and without taking a hit (shadow blade!), it is too easy.

I am a good Mega Man player, but I mostly am because I am willing to admit that I am far from professional. That said, if you can count to six and know Mega Man is two blocks tall and that your A button works, the Yellow Devil is almost insanely easy to deal with. Just do a big jump for Number 3 and over 4 and then you'll be fine until number 5 and 6. You barely even need to move, honestly! It's just the reputation it gets. Intimidation factor. I genuinely find Mega Man 3's YD much harder! Hope that helps

I can understand why you'd want to use the Metal Blade on the weird room boss that forms from the walls but, Bubble Lead kills them even faster.

X1: Rangda Bangda is pretty easy because he'll only ever use one attack at a time and you simplify the boss as you whittle him down. X2: The Serges tank is easy. Just use the Giga Crash to end phase 1 immediately, and then jump onto the bottom of the tank and spam charged Sonic Slicer. Iegitimately don't think Serges can kill you if you do this, which is weird considering that base Serges is perhaps the hardest boss in the game. X3: Vile Mk. II is the exact same as the optional fight, which is easy already, just with a slightly more dangerous Ride Armour. X4: Technically, the onky two candidates for this list are General and Sigma since Iris and Double wouldn't count. For X, General is by far the easier boss, but with Zero I actually have less trouble with Sigma because General makes it so hard to hit him with your saber without being hit in turn. X5: X is a cool boss but he's ultimately pretty easy. For playing as X, Rangda Bangda returns, where all you have to do to have an easy time is to equip the Gaea Armour. This thing is normally useless but it makes the spikes that sometimes appear from the walls, which is the only dangerous part of Rangda Bangda, pretty easy. X6: Sigma without a doubt. This version of Sigma is infamously weak. He's not even finished, just like X6. X7: Technically, Crimson Palace is all one stage, meaning that only Sigma and Mole Bore count, and while this is one of the easier Sigma fights, Mole Bore is obviously easier. The only challenge in this fight comes from X7's shitty 3D gameplay. X8: This might be a bit of a hot take, but Lumine is by far the easiest castle boss in X8. phase 1 is incredibly predictable due to recycling the 8 boss' overdrive attacks , and phase 2 looks threatening on paper, but all of his attacks are slow and easy to dodge in practice. It took me 3 tries to beat him, attempt 1 was a loss because Sigma left me with 4 HP, Attempt 2 was a loss because I didn't know Lumine's attacks, and then Attempt 3 was almost effortless. His shield gimmick is also easily shut down if you play as X. He doesn't have a weakness, but that's because he's so easy that he doesn't need one.

In X2, Agile is the easiest of the three, even if you don't have the shoryuken. I always struggle with Serges.

@@CarliVala Agile Flyer is also pretty easy, but I legitimately don't think that you can lose to Serges if you use the Giga Attack immediately and then immediately get onto the foot of the machine and start spamming charged Sonic Slicer. I think he'll run out of HP before you can take enough damage to kill you if you've been good about collecting items.

I honestly feel like MM8 would be my favorite game of the series if not for the 2 complete aids stages, which are such a difficulty spike that they aren't fun any longer. That's why MM4 is my most favorite, fun start to end, decent weapon energy use rates, and multiple methods to beat everything aside from buster only.

Yea it's a really tricky fight, there's a speedrunning trick where you can get inside of him and kill him in one jump which is what I was referring to but sadly I didn't have time to get new footage for it this time 😭
