If I remember correctly, Blade man weapon gimmick is that you can use it as a shotgun. Because they spawn at the same time, if you hit in certain angles, 2 or all blades will hit and do their damage together because you hit with them at the same time.

Fun fact: in one of the mangas, when Bass comes down with the roboenza virus, He is about to take the medicine until he sees Treble is suffering too. He then forces Treble to take the cure stating he "can handle a silly virus" before taking off to take on Wily. In the game, Treble gives Bass the medicine. Showing they probably DO care about each other, but don't want to show it.

I’m pretty sure nitro man takes extra damage from the spikes because since he’s a vehicular based robot master, spikes pop tires. So having him drive over the spikes does a lot of damage

This TAS vindicates my love of Commando Bomb. Such a cool weapon. I can't use it half as good as this of course, but you can come up with some fun uses that anyone can pull off with a bit of practice.

Rush Jet does work in that sand storm section on Commando Man's stage. Quickly set it up and fly to the top. When you're at the top off-screen, the sand storm won't affect your movement, meaning you can easily skip that section in a casual playthrough.

I assume the balls are rubber since they bounce, and rubber is an insulator, so of course the electric robot master would be weak to rubber. Also, Rush is clearly named after the band Rush. Still weird that he's the only one named after an actual band instead of a music genre or term, but still.
