The fact that X7 has a New Game + mode should be in one of those “little known game secrets” videos, because I’m sure most of us were like “Well that was a horrible experience” after beating the game and never touched it again.

Just for the record. When you jump and switch characters there is a moment where you keep your forward momentum before you start to gravity fall when you change a character. By switch to zero who has a double jump, you can essentially perform a triple jump if tomed right. That’s how the runner gets the skips during the 5:00 mark. There are a few places when playing causally that you can switch between characters and collect items you shouldn’t be able to get and even skip over the annoying 3D stage with the… acid? X7 is far from my favorite X games but I found this trying to get a heart tank and decided to play with it

I'm a big fan of the OG MMX but not a huge fan of the later entries or monies either. I do appreciate the Robat Master designs (and Mavericks too lol) I really enjoy your series on the speed runs and tas and all that, even if I don't ever plan to play the games. I'm all in for everything Mega Man!

I am confused by that. X8 ranks pretty high for me. Biggest issue for me is there aren’t enough “real” levels. But the controls, visuals, weapons, and armors are all fun. They just should have made Yeti’s and Manowar’s levels real levels that use the mechanics of the game. I hate the level design of x6 a lot. It’s my least favorite.
