NO NEED TO FEAR! There is ABSOLUTELY no pain! Dont listen to these people that say its the worst. I promise all of you that it will be painless and more than fine! Dont be scared! I was very scared and anxious, but before I got numb by the novacane they numb your mouth with a topical, then use the needle but you dont feel it at all, and im scared of needles! Dont be afraid, everything will be splendid :)

I have been suffering, Doctor G. I've been suffering for 6 years with toothaches. When I went back to college, I broke a tooth, then soon after, two more were disintegrating. I went to my dentist and 1. my insurance made me wait 35 days before they would authorize the extraction, and 2. once I was finally authorized, I went in to have all three done. The dentist (who has since passed away) refused to give me any more Novocain (he had already stuck me 6 times). One extraction was perfectly pain free, but the other two... I felt everything. It was so bad that I actually had nightmares about it. It's all I could do to even turn on this video to help prepare. I have 7 teeth broken off at the gumline and they are all hurting so much right now that I'm mentally preparing to try and face this fear. I've simply been unable to until now. They have been like this for so long that honestly, my gums have grown over the roots. Thank you again for the video!!!

So today I had 4 Teeth removed, 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom. Wasn't bad at all you will feel a lot of pressure and hearing like this grinding sound while getting each tooth 🦷 removed. Overall I'd do it again if I had to. Good luck!

I’m very glad I saw this video. I’m having my appointment for my upper right second to back tooth be extracted so I’m very nervous because it’s the back tooth but it needs to happen because it’s a cracked tooth exposed nerve probably and it hurts. It’s not hurting now, but it was hurting last month unbearable pain, I didn’t take no ibuprofen. I just dealt with it like a man drink, smoothies, drink bone broth everything healthy laid on my pillow on the pressure point of the tooth even debated on pulling it out myself, but instead waited patiently for a whole month to pass for my dental appointment. I’m so nervous wish me luck guys. I hope it doesn’t hurt.

Okay so i just took mine just rn iam a scaredy cat i always faint but this the injection dont have pain but when we take the tooth there is pressure and also pain but its bearable. And also guyss just think of something else like if you take this tooth you will pass ur exams with full high marks or think of ur crush or bf or someone you love

I read that in some rare cases extraction has caused trigeminal nueralgia. Even if it's rare, that small percent is enough to scare the crap out of me. That, and the fact that I have never really had any surgical procedure done whatsoever. Most I've had are cavity fillings.

@@cooldudestrikes5831 It was absolutely fine. My anxiety about going to the dentist (as well as my toothache pain) kept me from getting good sleep for almost 2 full weeks. Once I actually got into the office, my anxiety started to decrease and I was at ease. I got two teeth extracted and the entire process took 45 minutes at most, and I'd estimate 25-30 of those minutes were spent waiting for the numbing shots to work. One of the pulled teeth was infected, so I needed more numbing to ensure I wouldn't feel pain during the extraction. There are a lot of weird sensations and pressure going on in your mouth during the extraction, but I wouldn't describe any of it as painful. It has now been a full month and surely there were a few noises associated with the procedure, but I honestly don't recall or remember them, so they couldn't have been too bad. Ultimately, if you are having tooth pain and it's impacting your life, getting the situation taken care of is absolutely well-worth it. I even told this to my dentist, having a TV hanging from the ceiling was a game changer for me. I was able to put on an old NBA game from KZbin and just zone out while watching that. Earbuds connected to your phone for a podcast or music would've also been fine but I didn't have any headphones or earbuds on me.

this makes me feel better. everything i see on youtube makes it seem like people are having pain even 3-4 days after and even more so. but i am wondering if maybe if the only people that post stuff are the ones who jsut have bad expeirnces only. i am to assume any good oral surgeoun woudl likely do similar stuff to what Dr. Gorbatov is saying here?

I got my 38 tooth extracted few days ago and it did hurt like hell cuz it was infected all 30 minutes were miserable especially tooth socket cleaning with drill bits, even with 2 syringes of numbing medicine i had one of the worst pains i ever had. I rather break my arm again instead of repeating all that

Ok….but I have a HUGE fear of blood and I KNOW when they pull an adult tooth there’s a lot of blood bc that tooth was not loose w but had to come out for some reason

Just be prepared in case you have any plans in the weeks afterward. I am 1 week out and look like someone beat my face in. Dark purple discoloration going down the side of my face. Cant cover it up. Its way too dark. I wear a mask when I go out and have no idea how long this will go on but im guessing its going to be weeks. Its been Hell. I should have just gotten the root canal and crown. I regret the extraction now because its wasting weeks of my time recovering and ive been really upset about the way i look now.

It really depends if your demtist is good i have some extractions be horrible bleed for 12 hours straight amd not like a littlr blood it was gushing like je just removed it. You are not suppose to spit for the forst few hours so you can let the blood clots clot. It was horrible swallowing all that blood eventually it made me sick. But then i jabe had times were i literally had no idea they even removed it they were so good and quick. Depemds on your doctor/dentist and the situation. Yes its scary as hell but you will be so much happier for sire within 24 hoirs maybe even less. Best of luck to everyone
