Mild abrasive too! Once used on a surface it makes it hydrophobic enough for droplets to force eject themselves out of it. But it creates the grounds for more stuff to stick on teeth so whitening was created next. But it breaks the teeth apart so remedies were also sold. Just brush regularly with a normal toothpaste. Anything extreme is no less than make up products destroying your skin and then turning you dependent on them unless you cut off long enough for your normal skin and microbiome to grow and stabilise back. Until then, blemishes and chem burning as soon as air and skin oils touch your skin!
