Hi i realize this is an old video but i have a T95Z plus and when i push down and put the cord in the box doesnt even light up. When i take the toothpick out and "unclick" and plug the power cord in it lights up but only saya boot

Yes, when button is pushed, the box don't turn on. When release the button, the boot stucks in T95z plus logo.

Ron can this be performed on the older T95m box? That would be the box before the T95Z?

Can try. Should feel a click in the a/v port if it's possible. If not, a factory reset in the settings is the same. I only recommend toothpick method if box isn't even booting, and may have to go into USB burning method, but if you can reset through the settings, that is a lot safer.

I have the T95Z Plus Android 12.0 TV Box. Was booting to Home Screen like it should. Now boots to KODI. Do I attempted the reset as done here. My Android box will not power on while holding the reset button and power at the same time. My version does not have a power button so I use the remote controls on/off button.

Thanks. Great video. How on earth your box's memory usage is so low? For mine it's always as good as 40% if I don't open any APK and if I open KDPlayer or other APK it goes up to 60% quickly. Given that I've installed only a few APKs, it's strange to have such a high memory usage. How can you keep it so low?

Hi mate, can I get your help, when I turn on my t95z , (on the stand by screen where it says kodi apps browser etc,) I cant get my cursor to move to any section can’t get to settings apps etc, tried new remote replaced batteries you name it I done it, i even do complete factory reset with holding a pin in , but this is the strange part my remote works in there to select the options like factory reset reboot restart etc, so I went ahead done re-boot everthing restarted as normal but on the main screen again remote won’t move to select kodi apps setting etc , any help please

just curious, I bought this box and it started up fine but when I tried to set up the Ethernet it just stayed greyed out wasn't able to click that (tried different cables with the same result) any ideas what might be wrong brand new box

Held reset button in as shown but the menu wouldn’t come on for me unfortunately. Even the logo won’t boot up when plugged in now.

Sometimes it takes a few tries, just try again, but should boot up, so maybe hdmi isn't plugged all the way? I would recheck hdmi n make sure the button is pressed and held while you plug in power cable, sometimes it's easier with 2 people.

You had it set to go in sleep mode when hit power you have to set it to power off whenbyou hit power change it in setting

I like leaving the setting, so the power button gives you all 3 options. Tap it n puts it to sleep, long press n have choice of restart or power off.

Oh...I have never messed with firmware, man. Not on the t95z. I have updated the firmware on my h96 max hexacore rk3399, and I found the firmware and driver's n tools at freaktab.com forums, just search for whatever you're looking for, but also, make sure you know the process before attempting it, or you could mess up your device.

Really not sure, i have never had that issue, and now i gave it to my brother who runs it on wifi with no issues either. If it has "ipv6" enabled, maybe try disabling that and give it a restart?

Ya, sometimes it takes a couple tries. Just try the other options, or do exactly like i do on video. It may take a bit to boot, but it should come on. If not, just try again with a different option from the android recovery screen.

Awesome it worked...i have never casted to this device, but on other devices i just cast from the app like youtube or facebook or movie apks, but only on rare occasion. Maybe this reset will help, since your wifi is always disconnecting, maybe thats why casting kicks you out? Really no idea on casting though?

bill lowry I'm not too sure, but should be able to hear n feel the button in the a/v hole, unless they put it somewhere else. But just hold down on it while you plug it into power, just as my video shows n keep holding it until the android screen comes on. Sometimes it takes a few tries, but just make sure you hear n feel that button, maybe that device it has a reset button somewhere else!?!

Does your display light up? T95z is known for faulty power supply, u would try a different HDMI and port, and then try a different power supply, just make sure to get one with same specs, they have a universal one for cheap on Amazon that comes with lots of different size connections.

On 6.0 when you tap on the remotes power button , it only gives you the option to power off :(

Rod Emm not sure about 6.0, but there is a "powerkey function" setting on my 7.1.1, but I never mess with it, so maybe your powerkey function is set to power of instead of default sleep mode?

If I just tap my red power button it puts it in sleep mode. If I long press power button, it gives me option to power of or restart, but in settings, there is a powerkey function setting that you can change to whatever you want powerkey to do. Or at least on 7.1os
