I haven't listened to this for a month now, and it sounds good-as-hell! Never loses its spizzazz as good as the day they laid it down.

Yes, there are some similiarities between the two for sure. Berlin was/is hugely inspired by Jaco, even if he admits to it or not.

"Toots" I love the name, I've never heard of him. One thing I do know, the way he plays that thing is how he got his name. Great stuff!

He was the cat playing harmonica on the Sesame Street theme (the American kid's TV show where The Muppets started).

Glad you enjoyed the recording, but you must certainly have heard him even though you couldn't rememeber the name. He has played with a host of famous musicians ranging from Benny Goodman to Jaco Pastorius. With the latter he played on "Word Of Mouth" and "Holiday For Pans" as well as the Japan 1982 tour and various other live performances :)

Yes, he plays guitar on "The Mooch" and plays guitar and whistles simultaneously on "Bluesette" ;) Thanks for commenting George.

Harmonica is a diatonic instrument so it's the feeling of all other musicians who create this superb live

toots joue d un harminica chromatique et c pour ca qu il a un bouton dans la main droite pour avoir ttes les notes a la difference des harmonicas utilises dans le blues
