The song I like the most is “It’s a long way to the top”. The bagpipe solo is so distinctive and every time I listen, it takes me flying. Great song! Bon Scott learned to play the pipes for that song and just that is a piece of history already. As for an awesome and underrated riff I think “Stiff Upper Lip” goes a long way.

Two Words: "Ride On" It's a Bon Scott tune and it's different from anything else put out by AC/DC. It may not have what is considered the classic "Angus Riff", but it is a slow-burn blues number that (in my opinion) could have taken the band in a new direction if Bon Scott did not die.

Down Payment Blues is also an awesome song and I heard it was EVH's favorite. You have one of the very best channels of all time!

Well yea, those two songs on Powerage , are so killer and real life it simply ain't funny. There is nothing like Bon and Angus and the rest of AC/DC playing the blues and making it blues rock, past even the earlier greats of the same genre. They took the fusion of blues and rock way past what other people in the 50's did, or even past the great acid/hippie rock bands of the 60's -early 70's did . They made the hard rock genre. If anyone says "hardrock" what is the first band that comes to mind? They were/are, simply a god dam good blues/rock band. LOL , ain't it great ? :).

Hard to argue with your selections Rick.Thing is, they have so many killers, everyone has a few we just can't get over. Happy you put one in from Powerage. For me, despite the lack of a 'hit', that is the best Bon-era album. Beyond your choice of Riff Raff, Downpayment Blues is in insane. The two guitar interplay on Gone Shooting is just Malcolm and Angus perfection - with Billy Gibbons vibes. I was gonna list them, but basically every single track on that record delivers the raw, vicious, swinging perfection that the best of the rest very rarely achieve.
