I’m in the same boat. Not only are the Holidays eating up my paycheck, but I just got into the Jujutsu Kaisen and Hell’s Paradise animes, and I’ve already spent more than I should have rounding up the S.H. Figuarts versions of the main characters. If we wait too long to pickup Ken though, we’re going to get gouged on the secondary market. Ugh.

Nice Collection! Battle of the Planets figures are hard to find. And if you do find them they are usually expensive. I'm looking for old Japanese anime figures. Like starblazers, speed racer or shogun warriors.

Sure the reviews were a highlight but I understand and feel the pain especially when I try to explain my excitement to my wife over action figures. She don't hate it but don't care either. But I always enjoy the enthusiasm you bring in your videos and defintely makes my weekend and puts a smile on my face.

Two of my “Indie” toy company choices for figures of the year are the Marvel (Diamond) Select Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman. With all of the accessories and display options they come with and a $30 price tag, you can’t beat the value. No double jointed knees or elbows, but still plenty of articulation, and they both look great.

Amazing, that's a lot of figure lines. I got most of those for my children. I find that a majority of reviewers grew up the 80's or were born in the 80's. Me l got to watch 66 Batman in the 70's. I collect mostly Marvel Legends, both the Star Wars lines & a selection of Mythic Legions, He-Man, GI Joes, an a few others.

Your favourite version of a character is also your first. I agree. Let's say for DC, because everytime there is a new DC animated project. My mind always goes back to the Bruce Timm DC Animated stuff. That was my introduction to the DC Universe as a kid. Another is when there is a new Batman writer announced,my mind always goes 'Wait. Sooooo, did you put cosmic legions in this video just to insult them? It’s not clear. Did they make your list, but not your family’s? Or do you think they’re awful, too? Also, I would have liked to have seen what your family thinks of the non-builders like Olek, Kraggnar, Vorgga, etc. That was frustrating to watch.

Sorry for the frustration. I put them on the list because they are awesome, but those are the only two that I have. The three of us were away for the weekend and I brought those with me to play with and to think of what I was going to say in the video and my girls started messing with them and making fun of me (and my love of all things toys). They were cracking me up immintating my review style, so I said, if you think you can do it better, lets see it. I just thought their unfiltered opinions were so hilarious I had to share. No intent to offend or bash the figures

Wow, this video has it all - figures I'd not seen before, warnings on the financial and societal dangers of toy collecting and women reviewing action figures (not sure the latter will catch on......!)!!!!!!! I used to skate in the late 70s / early 80s - wish I still had my Fibreflex, Gullwings and green Kryptonics board although, these days, it wouId just be a wall hanger! I do need to look out for that Tony Hawks figure however - would love to attempt a conversion to the spaceman figure on the front cover of British rock band Budgie's Power Supply album.

And finally, those Jim Lawson figures - back to that financial alarm bell comment! The "Tales of the TMNT" comic series was the saving grace back in the day when the main Mirage comic went through some truly horrendous guest artist interpretations. I collected the majority of the Playmates figures for a decade but I would have loved to have had these Neca Mirage releases instead! Anyone want to swap a set of these Turtles for a MOC Artic Donnie? Lol😊

The cosmic legions review made me cringe. Those things are not meant to be toys, they were never made for play, that's why you cannot walk into a store and buy them. They are for adult collectors to display and take photos with and to put in different display options. Ughhhh WOMEN...
