For modern dramas I like Love 020 and Master Of My Own - Yang Yang is awesome in everything he does and he stars in Love 020 which is simple and sweet but the female leads acting and the way she reacts to his kissing is a little annoying. Master of My Own is more mature and I love the pacing and storyline but it’s definitely not as simple and sweet, much more character growth and there’s some important social themes highlighted I think. For period dramas I love Love Like The Galaxy and A Female Student Enters The Imperial College, the latter is somewhat silly but has the same devotion between the main couple which I loved in FIYS. For xanxia dramas, they’re longer and tend to drag a bit but I loved the leads in Love and Destiny and liked the male lead a lot in Eternal Love of Dream. My overall period favorite is Who Rules The World - really great acting, production values, and pacing/plot line. Happy watching!

It shows struggles of career goals and balancing that with a relationship, and everything is healthy-- no breakups, evils, or terrible misunderstandings. Mi Ka and Xing Kelei!!!

I never watched C drama before, I only used to watch K dramas. She was the reason I started watching C dramas. First I started with Hidden Love and then followed up by Who rules the world. Both dramas are highly recommended , exceptional acting by Zhao Lusi in both the dramas. This both drama made me fall in love with her, I am literally obsessed with her and both this dramas. The greatest thing about "Something in the rain" was not the scenario but the aura of the show. Colours, music and the dynamics between the characters. It was a very cozy show that left a very nice aftertaste. My mom, sister and I still can't get over that show. It was very impactful with its vibe and the message seeing as my sister and I are in our early thirties, encountering life from a very different perspective now than before. My mom still goes through the incredible soundtrack of that show every time she does ironing in the evenings or when she embarks on cleaning the house. It's hard to make a show so relatable to an adult audience without it being distasteful or gory. With all respect to Chinese production, I don't think they have the powerhouse to make it as memorable as "something in the rain" even with the same script. The Korean drama also opted to cast such people as Son Ye Jin and Jeong Hae In which was too spot on and no one can match their chemistry.

My personal favorites are: 1.) Love Between Fairy and Devil: MY FAV C DRAMA. Everything about this show is Perfect. 2.) Love like the galaxy: A little longer than most c dramas but the chemistry between the leads is so good. 3.) Lighter and Princess: If you are an angst loving girlie like me, you will love this modern c drama. The chemistry between the leads is perfect, the character arcs are amazing and the OST is beautiful. 4.) Falling into your smile: It is a perfect binge watch. A simple story which you can watch when you do not want to psychoanalyse each and every behaviour of the characters. 5.) You are my Glory: Another simple watch which has the couple with the healthiest relationship I have ever seen in a c drama. The chemistry between the leads is so natural.

Just watched *Lost Romance,* it was honestly SO GOOD. The acting is Super Real, the chemistry is Insane and mostly the drama is a combination of everything we hope for. It's teasing sense of humour towards the Hilarious cliches of chicklit 'CEO romances ' is too good xD Loved every bit.

This was the perfect mix of romance, comedy and action?, the action being the gaming scenes and competitions) •Love at night🧡(Very beautiful and mature drama, ML was hot&confident and the female lead was brave&pretty) •My lethal man💜(watched mainly for ML his face intrigued me) •Sunshine of my life❣️(so real and they went in depth with the fashion in this. The FL was a delight, and ML was handsome and nice to look at lol) •Intense love (watched mostly bc of how pretty the leads were) •Once we get married (the chemistry and intimate scenes were so natural and amazing) •Love is sweet (My first Bai Lu&Leo Luo drama, it was nice) •Why women love(older woman/younger man never really appealed to me until I see this and love at night) •Double love(this had a lot of potential to be great but was ruined by sloppy editing, the ML and FL were cute though and the FL's relationship with her brother was heartwarming♥️) As for Love 020, I didn't finish the drama because the female lead put me off from the beginning and her friend was annoying, Yang Yang was amazing as always though. I ended up watching the movie instead and have zero regrets 🙂.
