Hey man, I'm pairing my Toffino male with my Mocha Spider, they're currently locked, BUT! I came across something I had to share. Eastern Michigan University is doing a Ball Python Genetics Project. They posted on May 20th 2021, in it they focused on Albinos, they were able to prove on a genetic level, that Candy and Toffee ARE the exact same snake! I hope they keep going and figure out if other morphs are the same or not!

Happy Father’s Day. I have a question for you. I wonder why everyone jacks up the price for a het? Meanwhile you can breed a visual to anything and make all hets and visuals? To produce a single het isn’t difficult. To produce a visual, I understand the pricing.. but a single het? Doesn’t make sense to me. I see some hets for 750$ with single codom gene put into it. I ain’t even buying recessives unless they’re crossed with visually appealing codoms or visual recessives. Even if a visual single gene codom with a het recessive, I am not dropping 750$ for that. Maybe if they’re adults but we are talking hatchlings here. They’re not hard to make. Sorry but if they’re are doing this, I’ll just flood the market with them for cheap.

@@KINOVAReptiles the price is jacked up. 1500$ for a pastel GHI het clown female. Lace het clown 1500$. No lie. I’m sure I’d get some hate for stating this but this is a single gene codom. These are not even visuals. These are also the ones that rarely sell. I got my visual clown GHI pastel fem for 1650. Even visual male normal clowns breed ready can be found for 5-600$, and a breed ready lace or GHI can be less than that of 1000$. Then you got a whole clutch of the same thing you were planning on purchasing and two breed ready snakes to make that same het combo for the exact same price. Sure, 200$ incubator(that for sure won’t be a one time use).. 50$ in frozen rats by the time you’re done and have hatchlings but man, I don’t understand why a non visual recessive with one codom gene can fetch up to 2000$. Max should be 1000 for a single gene codom hatchling het. Just saying. The price is really jacked up.
