Honestly, Zanzibar is amazing. Funnily enough, my friend bought it as soon as it came out. Right away, I was wearing Dior Elixir, and yes, I love this perfume, even in the summer. It's superb. Going back to the story, my friend got a decanter of Zanzibar, and I sprayed my wrist with it. It smelled amazing. The coconut was creamy and lasted on my wrist until the next day. In short, I bought it the next day. I will pair it with Summer Vibez, a pineapple beast. Who knows, maybe I will get a piña colada vibe. And I live in a tropical place. I'm very impressed with Zanzibar. Thanks For the content.

Okay. I got it today and tried Zanzibar. Wow. Not bad at all. Its like you take that cocnut from le beau and mash it with powdery iris vanilla. That vanilla reminds me of that vanilla bran in The Scent Magnetic and a bit of vanilla in Invictus Victory Elixir. Very unique because it remids you of this and that but is quite different. But not for summer. Perhaps cooler summer nights or warmer fall. I like it a lot. So dead proof that you simply HAVE to try a frag on your skin, in your environment regardless what any of you say.

I got also D&G light blue Forever, awesome scent and refreshing with that grapefruit 😅 I still like Mandarina Duck, the yellow bottle, is a bager, nice Bergamotte, with a touch of a creamy floral, and on the base the cedar. Also adore Fleur du Male by JPG ❤ Sadly discontinued, but great scent. Davidoff Cool Water Intense, is very good in my opinion, Y Ysl Eau Fraiche, nice mint with geranium and tonka bean. Mancera Oud Lemon Mint or Lemon Line or Cedrat Boise Intense, for the night 😊

zanzibar was a funky smell when i first got mine , left a few weeks & its totally different now , a lot better scent for 8/9 hours, & iv never got the egg smell either from d & g eau intense , bentley silverlake is a beast summer scent for me .

It took a while to find the sweet spot for me with Zanzibar. It's like... it's too strong for me if I spray it like literally every other fragrance in my collection. It's a really strong sickly sweet kind of smell and I hate it, BUT I've found if I spray not quite at arms length, but far enough away to catch the particles in the air over a wide area, it fixes a lot of that issue for me and I enjoy it that way. It's the only fragrance I have that's like that... very odd. Just saying... if you have Zanzibar and hate it, try spraying it well away from you and don't go ham on the number of sprays.
