Honestly speaking you religious radicalist are so annoying and tiresome. Go back from the swamp you came from. Ruth bettered some parts and even became a supreme judge. You will never reach the accomplishment of anyone like her. Note: some people do not follow religious practices because they simply don’t care. This is why quite a few (in a minority) leave Islam, Judaism and other religions to be free from that suppressing culture.

@EP P There is no such thing as Jewish in name. No matter if you keep kosher or adhere to the laws of Moses, ethnically a Jew is a Jew, simply a secular Jew. And people around her will always judge her as a Jew first regardless of her religious beliefs. People are ALLOWED to be secular but it does not change their ethnicity
@Errornoname62004 жыл бұрын
EP P yeah if you’re sooo religious you should know there is no hell in Judaism. Get a life, a Jew is a Jew if they say they are a Jew. RBG did more for Jews than any other liberal EVER. You’ve been thinking about religion wrong your entire life if you think there is one right way to live as a Jew. @Errornoname62004 жыл бұрын
EP P that’s in the New Testament pal, so unless you’re a Christian, idk why you’re referencing it for your religion. Look up Olam Haba, it is the Jewish afterlife. There are only places further and closer to god, but there is absolutely not the idea of heaven and hell being split worlds in Judaism. Also, it sounds live a really fulfilling life, taking every word from a 2,000 year old book of METAPHORS as fact. As far as I’m concerned, if there’s a hell, they would welcome people who shun others within their religion for not living exactly as they believe they should to be a “good Jew”. Have fun with your incredibly flawed mindset on what it means to be a Jew. I’m truly sorry you’ve completely misinterpreted the entire point of our religion.

Ginsburg told a group of students at Georgetown University Law Center that lawmakers should appreciate that a president can appoint justices anytime during his term. “The president is elected for four years, not three years, so the power he has in year three continues into year four,” she said. “And maybe our members of the Senate will wake up and appreciate that that’s how it should be.” 09-08-2016 CBS News

She sounds like an amazing woman! What woman wouldn't love her man to play 2nd fiddle(for a better term) when it came to careers. The love he must've showered her with, cared for their children and put his own career on the back burner so to speak. You couldn't ask for anything more, except maybe, that he birth the children. What a beautiful relationship, it withstood the test of time and he stood next to her not in front of her when, the era of men rule. Gotta love him! She found THE one in a million 💞

I'd say he found the one in a million too. He wouldn't have made it through law school without her. There's nothing wrong with a man cooking and helping out. Justice Ginsburg said he approached his cooking from a chemist's point of view and really enjoyed it. He was also a very successful tax attorney. I'd say they were both exceptionally lucky to have each other.

In 2008 the Heller decision made clear what it meant to bear arms. Scalia quoted Justice Ginsburg's writing in a previous case. From cornell.edu: Justice Ginsburg wrote that “[s]urely a most familiar meaning is, as the Constitution’s Second Amendment … indicate[s]: ‘wear, bear, or carry … upon the person or in the clothing or in a pocket, for the purpose … of being armed and ready for offensive or defensive action in a case of conflict with another person.’ ” “..in the clothing or in a pocket” is carrying concealed. Yet it was stated that states can have restrictions: "Longstanding prohibitions on the possession of firearms by felons and the mentally ill, or laws forbidding the carrying of firearms in sensitive places such as schools and government buildings, or laws imposing conditions and qualifications on the commercial sale of arms." Yet, this doesn’t pertain to the carry of style, bearing of appropriation, or limitations supported by curtailment of classes or permits. And like in Heller, a firearm held in an inoperable fashion by state law is an Infringement and therefore Unconstitutional. So why are states still allowed to have felonious laws enacted against a citizens right to carry concealed without a permit? I mean if the 2nd Amendment doesn't allow the Uninfringed right to carry concealed, then every state that allows Constitutional Carry is in violation of the precedent set by the 2nd Amendment and must have policies to govern and restrict said concealed carry supported by classes and training, yet no such reality exists.... So again, why has RBG and all of SCOTUS failed to protect the American people against Tyrannical State laws which Infringe upon citizens Unalienable Rights?

@@willofiron26 I hear ya Ian and that is a sad reality. All a civilized society can really do is establish a code of ethics based upon a commonly accepted morality. These come in the form of laws. Unfortunately there will always be people who choose to break laws and suffer the consequences of doing so. We know that people are going to murder even though we established a law against it. Surely you don’t think we shouldn’t make it law just because some people will break it. It is a fact that it would be safer to shoot up heroin if it were legal and given at a nice sterol clinic as opposed to sharing dirty needles on a back alley. The fact there are some who choose to do so and put themselves at such risk does not mean shooting smack should be legal does it? The fact that some will break a law does not mean it shouldn’t be a law. That is defined as lawlessness. Make sense?

“Frankly,” said Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in 2009, “I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of.” She was speaking to the New York Times Magazine in an article on women on the court. Readers understood that those “populations” included racial minorities.
