Azula, as evil as she was, was one of my favorite characters in Last Airbender. She was really well written and I got really involved her her back story. Even though she was a terrible person, I still wound up feeling some level of empathy for her as she slowly came undone because of the stress of her childhood. I'd say Meg is one of the better characters in recent Family Guy, but they even found a way to fuck up a perfectly normal relatable character. So yep. Should've put all of Family Guy on the list. They've all been hatable for a while.

How could anyone ever hate Meg. Though she has her share of failures, the rest of year Griffin family is far worse. If I had to pick a character to hate, I would pick Peter or Brian, who can both be horrible people at times. Meg is tortured for no reason and we should hate the rest of the family for it.

Who the hell hates Helga Pataki? She's the most sympathetic, complex character on the show, I adore her! Sure, she's a bully and a little crazy, but honestly, I think that's part of her appeal. Her awkwardness, her fear of showing her vulnerable side, her mean and jealous feelings... Anyone who can't relate to Helga on some level is not someone I want to know. You know who people really hated on Hey Arnold? Little Ms. Perfect, Lila. Partly because she was so perfect it was annoying, but mostly because Arnold liked her. But you know what? I didn't pick up on this as a kid, but rewatching the series as an adult, I started picking up on this devious streak she has. Like, that one scene where she totally backs Helga into a wall and makes her confess her love for Arnold to her? She was totally messing with her! I honestly kinda love that.
