#1 should be Atlético Nacional refusing the cup and giving the match to Brazilian Chapecoense after almost the entire Chapecoense team died in a plane crash. The team holded a memorial service for the Chapecoense at their own stadium, invited the survivors... The entire fan clubs of Atlético Nacional assisted and chanted Chapecoense as if they were their own team. It was beautiful.

As a girl who plays soccer I know from experience that the older and more competitive you get, the less considerate you get towards the other team. I always go out of my way to help someone up if they fell or got hurt, even if they aren't on my team. As much as I love winning, it's just a game. Humans and their health is more important.

@JWC24.76 жыл бұрын
kara welte : Know it all....
@JustStopBruh6 жыл бұрын
Nick t . Yea, Kara Welte is right. The thing that happens is when you have a seizure, your tongue can sort of get in the way of, or block off your throat. Either you're unable to get oxygen or, and this happens quite often, people throw up or sort of foam when they seize. That's why you're supposed to turn them on their side. So if they've thrown up and their tongue is blocking their throat when they try to breathe in they'll suffocate.

If you would watch or play football you would see that this isn't true anymore. Sometimes there are some lights like these but in the most cases, a football player will take every advantage he can get, no matter how unfair it is. Starting from people throwing themselves on the ground on purpose and people injuring good players, so they aren't a danger to shoot goals anymore. I only play football atm and dont watch it, because the game just became so unfair it's a pain to watch. I got many goals against me, because i admitted when i fouled someone (not on purpose of course) or a ball got kicked out and I said i touched it last. I just stay in the hope that when I start playing fair my opponent will do the same, but very sadly this rarely is the case.

The goalkeeper accidently knocked the player out with his knee, when someone is knocked out and can swallow their tongue and suffocate themselves, Kankava (the defender for the other team) made sure he didn't suffocate by grabbing his tongue and pushing him onto his front to stop him swallowing it, the player then wakes up and i assume bites Kankava's fingers...but he saves his life.

That's what I was wondering. I saw his reaction and was thinking did he get bit or did he just freak because a man is losing his life in front of his eyes?
@bigidiotdumbstupidguy93297 жыл бұрын
That's how most people die when they go unconscious. Either the tongue rolls into the back of the throat and they suffocate or the tongue goes just far enough back to trigger the gag reflex causing them to vomit and they'll drown in their own vomit because they can't react to it. That's why it was so smart of him to roll him like that, even if he had a neck injury. Maybe not so fast but hey; I'd rather be paralyzed than dead.

Missing a penalty kick on purpose takes guts. I wish I had the context for that one.
@MrKnaldperlen7 жыл бұрын
It was the opening game between Denmark and Iran in 2003 Carlsberg Cup in Hong Kong. During the overtime in 1. half, the goalkeeper played the ball to his left back who made a pass back to the keeper. A whistle was blown and everyone in the stadium thought that it was half time. Coaches, players, crowd etc all started the half time. The keeper tips the ball up in his hands and the ref blows for a penalty as it wasn't him who made the half time whistle. Because Denmark didn't want to get infront because of this weird / shitty situation, Morten Weighost (player) and Morten Olsen (coach) agreed that he should miss it on purpose as they wouldn't want it to be a match winning goal. Weighost him self is quoted to say " I heard a whistle but it didn't come from the ref. But I didn't thought more about it, turned around and wend towards the tunnel. A few seconds later I hear my teammate Dalgas yelling to me that it is a penalty to us. I get confused and start to look around to see that everybody else was heading for the tunnel. We talk with the ref and we get it sorted out what happened":

@spencerqaz1237 жыл бұрын
Cade 86 you can't swallow your tougue idiot
@cade86897 жыл бұрын
spencerqaz123 It's technically not swallowing it, but the tongue is a muscle, and muscles can become fully relaxed upon a heart attack, seizures, and even getting knocked out. If the person's head is positioned a certain way it can drop to the back of the mouth, creating an obstruction so air cannot get through the windpipe. So it's not literally swallowing it, but it's just called that instead of having to explain it like that.

When I was in cross country freshman year I was almost the slowest on the team. When my friend hurt her hip I stopped to help her, and so did three other girls. We helped her walk back to help, then all ran back from very last place. We crossed the finish line together. It was my best time ever by 2 minutes. I still keep in touch with those girls. A second time, a girl got hurt but finished at the same time I did. I ran and got her ice. I used our teams ice to help her. Even if I suffered, I made sure others were okay before I went on. I'm the kind of person I looked up to when I was 5, and I'm so glad.

@AlexTheRevertP8 жыл бұрын
+Shahmi Zaidi I'll try to explain. when man gets knocked out his tongue goes down to his throat and it will make him stop breathing and then die. Kankava caught his tongue, didn't let it go down and with that Jaba saved his life

If any of them knew first aid they wouldn't have put there hands in his mouth. Kind of an overreaction, instead of giving him first aid with a chin lift and ABC checks.
@fallondavidson4315 жыл бұрын
so what actually happened?did he just get knocked out or was he choking?I'm confused about why they'd put their fingers in his mouth if he were just knocked out or something.
@adultgene83615 жыл бұрын
What happened was the guy had lockjaw and way swallowing his tongue if they hadn't opened his mouth and pulled his tongue out of his throat he would have suffocated. This has happened before when people get hit in the head.
@fallondavidson4315 жыл бұрын
okay thx for explaining that for me. i couldn't really tell what was happening.

I feel as though soccer players r more likely to stop a game and rush to a players aid as soon as they see something out of the usual. I know other athletic sports players would do it too but some of them would see someone down and keep playing until they score.
