My list would have to have Sophia Loren and Ingrid Bergman for Gaslight. I prefer Jane Alexander in Testment over Shirley MacLaine but Shirley should have won sooner. I have to think the order of my list . Meryl definitely deserves top spot but my favorite performances actually come from different movie than the one she won for . But Sophie’s Choice is so powerful and devastating it was a deserving award. But it’s a strong list 😊
