#7 Terre D’hemes.... I sprayed this cologne on at 6am. Drove down the road for 10 miles down the road before getting a flat tire . I change my car tire and Was sweating like crazy in my T-shirt. Got back in my car turn on the A/C to cool off and I was fine. At 1:30pm I went to Wendy’s and the lady cooking the French Fries asked me what I was wearing. I don’t know how the hell you can smell cologne while cooking over hot grease but ok. So yes this cologne is a banger for me. I have tried Mugler Cologne before and it doesn’t last on my skin or clothes. But the one right here.... this right here is the best so far. Please keep making videos like this. I need colognes that last and can handle the hot humidity.

I love the original adg so I blind bought a bottle of profumo and I'm repulsed by the incense. I never liked the smell of incense and I should have took note that it had that in the notes but it's literally all I smell. Luckily I only got a 2.5oz. I'll just wear it when I don't give a shit to put it to use but definitely the weakest in my arsonal

I've been wearing certain fragrances for years and have my "go to" of about 4 out of 10 I keep on hand. I finally got around to smelling Savauge. Yeah everyone says how well ADGP performs but just like Sauvage as well, my skin seems to just eat away projection and reduces these frags to skin scents within an hour or if I'm lucky two...

1987198719871 Same here bro. Adg profumo gives me 3 hours max. I've started spraying on clothes for better performance
@jeremymac37 жыл бұрын
1987198719871 ....couple ideas.. 1.use a non scented lotion on your spray hot spots and then spray your frag over it, it keeps your skin from soaking it up as fast. 2. Use EDP versions, they are more potent and last longer than your typical EPT. 3. If those don't work then your skin sucks for cologne😞 so spray your clothing instead, the scent will sit in the fabric a long time.
@19871987198717 жыл бұрын
jeremymac3 Yeah I've tried, it's strange some days I feel i get better performance than others, if I'm in a closed environment like a office then performance is better but mostly out and about just average and below, bad skin chemistry no doubt.
@nawaal44527 жыл бұрын
The only fragrance that lasts on my skin is Aqva Amara. Ended up selling my sauvage and adg profumo 😂
@19871987198717 жыл бұрын
Nawal Ansari Yeah I sold my AGDP due to poor performance as well, it's funny here in England we have a company called perfume parlour that make really good clones of fragrances and their version of Dior Sauvage lasts longer than my bottle of actual Dior Sauvage again on my skin, I'm going to get a decant of Amara as I've heard it has good performance.
@kerino17 жыл бұрын
E - You were the first to put the Icon and Encre Noir Sport on my radar, and they most certainly get heavy play in the rotation. I'm sure this was a hard list to whittle down. Entebaa, Individuel, Daarej, Guerlain Vetiver Extreme and Eau Savage Parfum would have been on my list (but I'm in my mid 40's).....lmao!!! Great list & vid, my man. Thanks for doing what you do. I gotta get serious and try that Narcisco Rodriguez!!!!
@0125DJ19895 жыл бұрын
List is on point. But I have never smelled the Bleu Chanel on another man except for my younger brother as he has my EDT bottle I gave him after I upgraded to the EDP. I think with the popularity of Dior, the Bleu Chanel has taken a bacc seat. It’s either not selling or the consumer isn’t using it as often. The PARFUM version of Bleu dies not project well at all but dies last longer so imo is incomplete.

That style of scent isn't a favorite of mine tho I can appreciate Tsar...It's like a time capsule to the 80's but that doesn't mean anything negative to me...It's a very nice serious fragrance regardless...But perhaps too serious for me but I could do an objective review on it so maybe I will one day...

@triktrak_14516 жыл бұрын
Hi E! I have to give you a sincere thank you, and then I have a question. To start, I am a complete newbie to fragrances-- I've been watching videos for just a month or so, tried some samples, and bought 4 new fragrances for myself. But here's the thank you... I was watching a KZbin review of Green Irish Tweed, and in the comments section you gave props to Guerlain Homme L'Eau Boisée as a great warm weather scent. I bought a sample, and I love this stuff. It is my favorite scent that I've ever smelled, and I think it may become my signature scent. I can't get enough of this stuff, and I think I want to bathe in it. So thanks, man... my brand new fragrance journey took an awesome turn right from the start, and you're the guy who held up the detour sign! Just for background, the other 3 fragrances that I bought (after trying samples) are Aventus (a split), Sauvage (EDP- I like it better), and Brioni. The first 3 are all very similar, although Sauvage is way in your face compared to any of them. I guess I like more subtle scents overall. I'm not looking to knock anyone over at 20 paces. My question is this... where do I go from here? I think I want to try some woody scents, maybe some incensey scents. But I don't like heavy, musky stuff. Incidentally I seem to dislike sweet or vanilla scents too. One of the things I like best about Homme L'Eau Boisée is its clarity, and how clean it is. Are there woody, earthy fragrances that are simple, open and clean? Would I like others in the Guerlain line? Or is there another direction you might point me? I haven't smelled anything at Sephora or Macy's that is in this direction, and that I also like. And I'm sure you know that ordering a pile of paid samples can easily add up to the cost of a decent bottle of fragrance. So I was hoping since we have at least one favorite in common that you might narrow the field for me? Any thoughts would be appreciated. And by the way, I really enjoy your videos, both the content, and your "simple" easy-to-understand style of presenting. Your vids help me a lot.

Good video. This is a challenging topic. Personally, I'd replace Encre Noir Sport with Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver, which I've pulled off in winter time. I'm currently having sort of a hot streak with scents of this kind, as I've recently discovered Dior Homme Eau, Dior Aqua Fahrenheit (GET YOUR NOSE IN IT, E!), and Abercrombie First Instinct. Those are my last 3 full bottle purchases, and I feel like I can wear them in the dead of winter up here in Rochester, hunched over my garbage plate amidst 7 feet of snow.

E, awesome video yet again. You and I have a lot of similarities based on the list you provided. Terre D'Hermès by Hermes is a great fragrance without question. Designed for the man who enjoys a challenge. Icon by Alfred Dunhill is another exceptional fragrance as it comes across unique to my nose. The concentration is EDP for a relatively cheap bottle. What can't I say about Sauvage? It's my #1 versatility fragrance in my collection. Acqua Di Gio Profumo by Giorgio Armani is "beast mode" at it's finest on my skin. Good job, E. 👏👏👏 keep pumping those videos out.

Hey brother, Thanks for watching and I prefer Bentley Intense Absolute to Encre Noire A L'extreme so far but I think the scent is very well done...But it's lalique so i'd not expect anything less...And Bleu comes across like a more spicy Terre D'Hermes...I think it's a great scent and can also be considered a great signature scent option. I'd watch out with such spicy scents in the heat but u can probably pull it off on warm nights...If u are brave...lol

Simply Put Scents thank you so much for your feedback as always! Well, I found a ridiculous price tag on Encre Noire Extreme and could not let that pass - 36 euros (38 dollars, more or less) for 100 ml of that juice, brand new! I really like Encre Noire Sport, so I will give the Extreme version a shot. Actually, Bentley Intense is, as well, in my wishlist 😁 About Bleu Noir, I liked the scent, buuut didn't "wow" me. I'll give it a second chance next time 😉

I don't own many scents but ADG Profumo is my favourite. I can wear it in the winter, summer or fall, in the club (works great in the club) or wherever. It just works and it has good performance. It is great also because I enjoy fresh scents and ADG is fresh with some maturity and depth. It is not your typical fresh cologne and one can easily wear it with a suit.
