I get that a big part of the game is trying to build decks with the cards you have, but here is what I think is the biggest problem of the game right now. it has to do with the slow progress of getting new cards. there are good cards like rescue bad cards like crystal and some cards I would call archetype cards, like Mr negative, lockjaw, sera, wong, patriot etc. Those cards enable new archetypes of deck that you can't play if you don't own these cards. And that's the problem with the rng the tokenshop also can't really reduce. If you don't get any of those cards the decks you can play are limited by the archetypes and within them by your collection. But also by your playstyle and the meta. I e.g don't like the destroyer decks but I like wonggoing which ist not that good right now. So I'm limited to play my discard and patriot deck over and over again with slight variation because I can't really play something different.

Pretty simple fix to but they aren't doing it. On token shop either give more tokens or allow skips. And don't limit the amount of collection you can do to missions. Give a certain number collection points per win or something. If your going to make stuff so high cost and rng don't limit the amount of points you can get so heavy.

But every other TCG gives you a couple random cards in a pack, and unless you’re throwing thousands of dollars into those games a year you have the same exact problem. Snap is objectively an improvement on the formula that’s needed to be shaken up for decades. If the system doesn’t work for you, you can play Magic, Yugioh, Pokémon etc. I’ve put time into the game and because of that I have almost every card I want except for Shuri and Bast and it feels much better because I earned it. Yes I played the Beta for a month or so, but I still had to put the time in.

The only thing they have to do is to have collector caches no variants unless you have a complete pool 3 collection, only cards, tokens, gold and credits

Don’t worry I stopped playing reveal which was my main deck at the start, that also made me create more decks like destroy death but then I finally got wrong out of a collectors cache. Creating different decks and testing them are very fun, I made a complete troll deck which let me climb a lil and annoy my opponents lol

7:20 I don't know if it's my favorite, but I'm definitely having a lot of fun with a Ramp deck. There's definitely something to be said for just playing a bunch of big beaters and winning with those. I used the budget deck you showed as a basis, then altered it to focus more on On Reveal effects. This allows me to make plays like Gamora into Arnim Zola, typically reaching 12 or 17 power in two locations on their own. If I have Electro and did that over Turns 4 and 5, Odin can be played into the Arnim Zola location, triggering Arnim Zola and putting Odin in both of the Gamora locations, triggering them again. Other games have been won with two Infinaut alone (Electro, skip, Infinaut, Arnim Zola). This has even dodged a couple of Shang-Chi. On a related note, this is the first deck I used that plays Odin. I had an amusing game where the opponent sent Green Goblin over to me. Seeing Odin in my hand, I remembered the Goblins are On Reveal, so I altered my plan to use Arnim Zola and instead played Doctor Doom in the Green Goblin location. Turn 6 was Odin, triggering Doctor Doom again and sending the Green Goblin right back. I think my most amusing game with this deck, however, was one where the left location was The Bar With No Name (least power wins the location). My opponent led with The Hood there, immediately winning -2-0. In response, I used Wave on Turn 3 and Aero on Turn 4. For some reason, my opponent played Spider-Man there regardless, but Aero would have drawn it there anyways. Turn 6, I used Arnim Zola to destroy Aero and place duplicates in the other locations, winning me that location 0-1. I think Arnim Zola has solidified itself as one of my favorite cards.

Excellent timing! I'm 546 and have unlocked Aero, Destroyer and Leader! I even have Absorbing Man pinned in the shop currently. If that wasn't lucky enough I actually missed Wave and Patriot in the store as I didn't realise they were so good when I moved into Pool 3 so let them slip 🤦‍♂️ This will help me with some ideas, thank you!

Budget decks on any other card game use cards of the lowest rarity or that are easy to obtain for everyone, but here "budget" is "if you are lucky to have this card", my only friend playing this game quit for that, I hope he return to the game when friend Challenge and others games modes

Odd thing to note: Budget Destroyer didn't have a Token icon on... well.. Destroyer. And for personal flavour, I like Cable in Lockjaw. Any card that replaces itself really.

All cards have the potential to get nerfed, all cards have a potential to get buffed, worrying about what to buy because of What ifs means you will never wanna buy anything. If you plan to use the card now, get him if not wait.

@Cozy Snap… my collection level is 1,463 and I have 40/70 Pool 3 cards… does this sound about normal? I never unlock cards from the Collector Reserves.. I know the luck protection thing was mentioned that you’re supposed to get a new card at least 1 in 7 Reserve Caches… but that is a LOT of grind.. if my math is accurate 4,200 credits just to unlock 1 new card.. this seems egregious…

I think Sera Surfer is the best budget deck. I know Surfer is a pool 3 card but you get him with the season pass and so you can get him a lot quicker than you can save up 1000 tokens for a pool 3 card in the shop. I was lucky and got Sera from a cache, but I'm only at about CL 1200 and can't make any of the decks in this video (except maybe Giganto, but I don't have Thor). Even so, I got to infinite a few days ago with Sera Surfer. Serra, Surfer and 3 drops is mainly what you need to get started (I also run Nova and Okoye). Every pool 3 three drop you unlock upgrades it a little: Juggernaut, Rogue, Lockjaw, Brood.

Im gonna be honest, the format of this video was really difficult for me to follow. I really love the idea of "here is a strong pool 3 deck, and here are some suggestions for cards you dont have" but we never really get to see that cream of the crop list, so its hard to tell what the best deck to run is if we DO have all of the cards. Like the lockjaw casino for example. I have all of those cards. So where does wolfsbane go? or magneto?

People give me crap for not running Jubilee in my Infinaut deck. It was good to see it missing from your list too. People still think that Jubilee playing the card from your deck = You playing that card which is completely wrong. I've tried telling people this interaction will not work, but people will believe what they want to believe - Just know if you're playing Jubilee incorrectly players like me will take advantage of it!

Are we calling decks with five series 3 cards budget? If the answer is yes then the Silver Surfer Discard deck qualifies and its actually 6 cards if you count Silver Surfer himself as a series 3 card.

I tried to include 2 additional decks to make up surfer on the list, it’s fantastic to run early on with the right pulls or season pass surfers, and if not swap to the lock jaw Dracula. It’s a bummer out of everything on the video to comment about that’s what stuck out the most to you, but thank you for the feedback!

@@cozysnap I could also say that Mr. Negative is in the trash tier for budget decks. Without additional help (from locations or opponents), there will be 2 cards that can be drawn that are stat swapped. Those 2 cards probably won't win that many more games unless one of those cards is Iron Man. The deck is so inconsistent that your deck has Sera as an alternative path to victory. If people already have, Sera, why wouldn't they be playing a Sera deck? Only more Series 3+ cards including Psylocke, Jane Foster, Magik can make Mr. Negative decks worth playing.

If you're seeing him a lot then play cards like Cosmo or Spiderman to shut him out. He's very predictable If you've unlocked Aero from Pool 3, she's an insane Turn 6 counter to Zola as long as you hold Initiative
